Worked for me. Helped cool the engine a few degrees and seemed to make it run a little quieter. Not a miracle oil that will cure a motor that has major mechanical issues, but for an engine that has normal valve train clatter, it seemed to soften it to a tolerable level.

I have owned my 2002 Road King for 9 of it's 12 years on earth and I just recently happened to read my manual regarding oil recommendations. It gets really hot in the summertime here in Arkansas and I ride a lot in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. I was surprised to read that Harley recommends a 50W oil for use in extreme heat conditions, so I ordered some Lucas 50W synthetic from Bolo since it was the only 50W synthetic I could find. So far I am very happy with the oil. No oil consumption, no heat issues so far and the price was right. Of course Lucas and Bolo have stellar reputations so I had no hesitation with my purchase choice.

I will never go back to 20w50 --- I rarely ride in the winter months here in New Jersey , so almost all of my riding is in warm to hot weather and I am a spirited rider to say the least --- my bike is running a little cooler for sure using the straight 50 weight -- 2004 stage 2 Twin Cam softail

Lucas is a very good oil got your Harley . Straight 50 is much more protective in hotter temps . Lifters bleed down like 20/50 valve clatter is reduced on twin cam motors . I highly recommend this oil .

1quart NOT 6 quarts..this is rediculous.
I don't understand what happened here..I know how to read English and 6x1 always means 6 units, however only one showed up. I"m returning and escalating this..lame incorrect description
Description states Oil/6x1/ Quart,
I read that as 6 x 1 quart containers, as 6 quarts all together. I just received one quart!? Anyone else have this problem? Will be sending it back, pretty pricey for a single quart!
