It made me sick been throwing up for days with diarrhea. I recommend you not to buy this product 4/8 has a very bitter taste and bitter smell it does not have the taste of licorice more of a taste of a medicine or some type of drug in it. If you are still willing to buy this product I recommend that you don't take my word for it you did not want to go through what I went through. I almost went to jail because of my aggressiveness. I used to drink this fennel seeds as a tea but with the product from Mexico. And I never had no problems with it my doctor actually approved it and I get check-ups on a yearly basis so I know that the product that I was drinking from Mexico was a hundred percent legit. But the store that I buy it from had ran out of their merchandise on fennel seeds. And so I saw these on Bolo and I gave it a try and it was the worst mistake that I've ever made in my life as far as buying s e e d s. So be careful think about it twice don't purchase this because you will feel the side effects of this. The fennel seeds side effects causes stomach cramps diarrhea and some hallucinations but not like this brand that Bolo has. God bless you and take care of I hope this helps

Not overpowering or cloying spicey taste, but flavour enhancing, especially in many otherwise bland tasting sauces. Natural taste reminds me of eating wild rabbit meat in Bermuda. where fennel used to grow wild on the roadsides.

Half became rolls and half made a pizza crust. Especially liked them in the rolls. I munched on a few to taste them before adding to dough. Tasted great. Have liked all spices I've bought from this company so far and will definitely purchase from them again.
NOT for raw chewing
Very strong flavour and leaves a bitter aftertaste after chewing. Not ordering again.Might be better for cooking but the packet got left on the window sill and had a weird smell so ended up throwing it all. I would not recommend it.

I chew it after lunch and dinner. Freshens mouth. Understand it has good digestive properties.
