5.0 out of 5 stars Great Bully Sticks - I think some other reviewers may not understand the product.
I've seen some bad reviews on here for Best bully sticks and I think these are mostly due to a misunderstanding. Bully sticks - no matter where you buy them - can have different effects on different dogs because of the way their made. Even out of the same bag one bully stick could be fine for your dog and the next could make your dog vomit, have stomach problems, allergic reaction, etc. I reiterate this is going to be an issue with any bully stick you buy from any company.I also think its important to keep in mind that if you want a specific amount of bully sticks you shouldn't buy a bag based on OZs. A bag like that they're going to throw in the different sizes of bully sticks and you're not always going to get the same amount. Sometimes you will get only a few thick ones or sometimes you'll get a lot of thin ones. They have a lot of options of different specific count bags so if you're worried about getting a specific amount of bully sticks I'm sure you can find the right option for you.In terms of the bully sticks themselves I really like them for my dogs and they are a good price yet surprisingly well manufactured for the price. My dogs enjoy them, sometimes they smell but I mean they are bully sticks and the smelliness definitely makes my dogs enjoy them well and personally I buy the bully sticks for their enjoyment not for my comfort.I've only had one issue when purchasing these bully sticks and it was that the post office said it was delivered but I could not find it. I called customer service and not only where they very kind but they called the post office, found out where the package was, tracked it throughout the day, and sent me continuous updates. That might in fact be the best customer service I've ever received.Anyways I really like these bully sticks and my dogs love them and I encourage you to buy them but just make sure you know what you're buying.

These are GREAT!! My 1 year-old Yorkie can't get enough of these braided bully sticks!! No splintering at all, just a white taffy consistency as my pup works on eating one. Braids are pretty thick, as advertised, and will easily have my little guy busy for a couple of hours. I ordered the 4"-5", 1 lb. package and upon delivery, found that there were 16 in the bag. I was very impressed with this item being "as advertised"!! I've purchased 4"-5" braids at local pet stores and they were about $4-$5 per braid. With the price point for this being around $30-$32 (depending upon your order preference), the average cost per braid in this bag was around $2!! I'd much rather pay $2/braid and get the Prime 2-day shipping than to pay $4-$5 per braid and have to leave my home!! The only con with this is that the smell is a bit harsh when you open the bag. BUT, with so many braids confined in such a small area, it's bound to not smell like pansies. The smell is absolutely not a deterrent for me for future orders!! I'm definitely going to set up a subscription to receive these!

This bag was a good value. I have 2 shih tzu puppies, well almost a year old, and they love their bully sticks. I've really found that bestbullysticks.com had the best deals and was happy to find that the company sold on Bolo! These are not advertised as odor free and let me tell you, that is true! These are some of the more stinky ones. I've ordered the 6" and 12" sticks from this company and those were alot less stinky. I do love these for my pups though because they are braided and it takes them a little longer to get through, I just wish they were low odor. Overall, I would order again. They're $25, plus free shipping and that is a pretty good deal. One bag lasts two puppies about a month in a half. I give them each one to work on every weekend. I don't like to give them to them during the week, during work hours while we are away and can't supervise. I took off one star for smell alone. Otherwise, very good product.

These Bully Sticks are some of the best I have ordered. The value is incredible, and my dogs absolutely love them. As soon as the package arrives in the mail, all three shar peis assemble and show off their best behavior to earn a bully stick. The bully sticks aren't the best smelling, but they don't leave a lingering odor. I have ordered these bullies three times, and I don't intend to order from any other site!

We are repeat Bully Stick buyers. The recent order we placed for the braided and 12" sticks were super smelly. I was taken back at how pungent the odor was when we opened the bags. It legit smelled like they were buried in cow manure prior to packaging. While our doodle loves them, I canNOT stand the stench these give off in our home. We don't live on a dairy farm, but when these are being consumed one would wonder. I am returning this batch. I'd love to stick to best bully brand, but not sure I can continually return them if the oder continues to remain so strong. I am not sensative to smells, and yes, I do know what they are made of.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad Batch!??-Buyer Beware
I've been getting the braided bully sticks for 6 months now for my 60 pound pup. He loves them and while they do smell it hasn't been horrible until this last bag. This last bag I receive is a lighter tan color, not the darker brown color that I have become accustomed to, and they smell absolutely putrid. My poor pup loves these and wants them but when I gave him the first one out of the bag he didn't start chewing it right away, which is totally abnormal. And now today he has thrown up 3 times and has eaten nothing out of the ordinary other than the weird colored, extra foul smelling bully stick. Update: these have made my dog extremely sick. We are now on day 2 of bloody diarrhea and vomiting from them. He is currently at the vet getting treatment and hopefully he pulls through alright. I will never buy again.
