First, if you don't like seaweed, be forewarned, you won't like these. They have a strong seaweed taste. Think like the seaweed that is used to make sushi, only since it's dried, its flavor is intensified. There is a strong 'fishy' scent to the seaweed snacks too.My first reaction wasn't positive, to be honest. They were super, super thin and brittle and the scent of seaweed and fishiness was a bit strong upon first opening the package. I took a tiny tentative bite from the edge and did not taste any wasabi or heat level at all. I finally broke down and put the whole thin crisp in my mouth and wow! The wasabi was nice and strong, but not super hot hot. There was a good crisp flavor and yet the crispy snack sort of melted in my mouth too.Each package is individually wrapped, perfect for packing for a lunch or taking somewhere for a snack, storing at the office, etc. Great for a healthier snack alternative. I like the flavor, once I got the wasabi kick. Seaweed is supposed to be really good for thyroid health and other phyto and micro-nutrients too. I was really pleased with these snacks and I think I'm going to buy more of them and maybe try some other flavors. They were surprisingly good. I've been considering ways they might be able to be used in cooking, as I think they'll reconstitute well too. I will update my review if I happen to give that a try.If you like seaweed or have enjoyed the sushi seaweed wrap, these are flavorful and you'll probably enjoy them too. I don't think they are for everybody (my son hated them), but sushi lovers will probably enjoy these quite a bit.

Pros:-These are low calorie - even when compared to other seaweed snacks. These only have 15 calories per pack while many other brands have 20-30 calories for packs that seem to be the same serving size.-The seaweed snacks from this brand are consistent in quality. I’ve gone through more than 5 6-packs of seaweed sheets from this brand, and the quality hasn’t wavered.-The quantity of sheets in each pack is enough that you feel like you’re getting an actual, respectable serving. (I note this because (1) I hate it when products fake lowering the calorie count by giving you a ridiculously small serving size, and (2) some other seaweed snacks I’ve tried that have so few sheets per pack it leaves me wondering what I paid for.)-These are a healthy alliterative to popcorn or chips when I need a salty fix.-They’re relatively affordable in comparison to other seaweed snacks.Cons:-The inside of the wrapper and outside of the tray (carrying the snacks) is greasy/ oily.-The sheets are too wide to fit in your mouth, although to be fair they’re the same width and length as all seaweed snacks - I just wish seaweed snacks (generally) were cut differently. I solve the issue by cutting them in fourths (cutting in half lengthwise and widthwise) to make easily eatable “chips.”-These can’t be purchased locally, at least in my area.-The flavoring difference is very subtle. I’ve tried the onion and sea salt flavors, and although I can detect a bit of a difference I honestly wouldn’t be able to tell them apart if I were eating them without knowing which flavor I grabbed. (But they’re both good, so I usually just buy whichever is in stock and/or on sale!)Overall, these are the best seaweed snacks I’ve found and I will definitely be ordering more.

My favorite “healthy” snack. Delicious and addictive - makes you want to eat way too many of them! - but so good. An acquired taste for sure but I love them and wish the larger case was still sold on Bolo

I like the flavor of these a lot, but they're just dripping in oil. Every time I open a package, I have to do it over the trashcan, because there are just pools of oil all over the packaging, and it gets all over everything. I also have to make sure I have some kind of napkin or paper towel nearby so that I can wipe off all of the excess oil when I'm done eating them. Probably wouldn't buy again because of that.

Seaweed in general, no matter what product, will taste a bit fishy, but i LOVE fish, so the taste is on point for me. The chipotle seasoning adds a great flavor and a bit of spice, which is a delightful change to the traditional seaweed. What separates seasnax seaweed from other seaweed snacks though is the fact that they use OLIVE OIL, which is clean and unprocessed, rather than your traditional processed and cheap canola oil. To me, that makes seasnax a far more superior product that i will continue ordering on a monthly basis. not sure why other seaweed snack companies won't follow suit.

If you have an allergy to iodine or iodine contrast, DO NOT CONSUME. I didn't know and had to call the EMT's...😯That said, the flavor was like salty, spicy, fishy paper. Not unpleasant. If you aren't allergic to iodine, you may like them.

I am not real sure what my expectations were going into this but what I experienced was not that great.I love fish; but these little sheets of seaweed shouldn't taste quite so fishy in my opinion. I understand that they come from the same habitat but I just couldn't get past it and enjoy the snack.I tried to like these but in the end they just weren't that appetizing. If you are replacing snacks with these, I could see where these would be useful for weight management. The nutrition content is almost nonexistent with these snacks. Not much to them at all (16 calories). But if you are hoping for a "great" tasting snack, I would definitely look elsewhere.
