This salt free hot sauce is the best I've had. I prefer it over salted (store brand and boutique) hot sauces. Better ingredients. Better flavors. So delicious. And you use a lot less because of the rich flavors. However, the prices and shipping are outrageous. I ordered from heart healthy market before and had great service and found some other tasty, healthy treats on their site. But I'm unsure as to why the price hike and high shipping. The Mr. Spice website only charges 5.95 per bottle and gives free shipping as well as coupons (buy 7 get 1 free, buy 10 get 2 free etc.). I'd like to continue to support heart healthy market and I like the simplicity of ordering with Bolo but since I order so much of this stuff, for the price I'm now ordering directly from Mr. Spice. If they ship to you I'd advise you to do the same. And they have many more flavors!
1.0 out of 5 stars Worst Hot Wing Sauce Ever
Wanted to find a hot sauce with low sodium so I tried this hot sauce out and I can honestly say this is the worst I've ever tasted. Not sure what it is in the hot wing sauce but it had a sickly sweet taste and smell that is just awful. I'm really glad I only tested it out on a few wings because it was so bad that I tossed it out immediately after trying it.

I use this sauce as a hot sauce. I love the level of heat and the flavor and best of all--the level of sodium. I tried a product from another company that was a salt-free hot sauce and it reminded me of a vinegar mopping sauce, not a hot sauce. Mr. Spice Salt Free Hot Wing sauce is my new go-to hot sauce. Thank you Mr. Spice!

First things first, this tastes nothing like Buffalo sauce. That was disappointing, because I was looking for a sodium free or low sodium Buffalo sauce. That said, the sauce has a terrific flavor! Zero sodium with a real peppery kick, this stuff makes a fantastic marinade for burgers, chicken, chops, etc. It is also terrific as a dipping sauce. The flavor is so good I've dipped steamed veggies in it just to jazz them up. So, if you can deal with the fact that it isn't going to replace your Buffalo sauce, I highly recommend it.

Realize there’s only so much one can do with such low sodium content, but I wish it could have more flavor or spice. Tastes bland.

Let's start with the obvious question. Do these taste as good as the full fat, full salt products they are mimicking? Absolutely not. Are they 8/10 as good? Absolutely. I've really come to love most of the products in this line. If you're looking to cut back on salt (or some of the other substances these products omit) then look no further than Mr. Spice. Don't expect a 1 to 1 replica of the sauce they are replicating, but you can expect something almost as good.
2.0 out of 5 stars Looked and tasted more like Worcestershire Sauce than Hot Wings Sauce
When this arrived, the sauce definitely didn't look the same color as the picture shown on Bolo (i.e., the more orange color one might normally associate with Hot Wings sauce). I care more about the taste than the color, but here's where things were off again. It tasted more like Worcestershire Sauce than Hot Wings Sauce - and those are very different flavors(!). So, it wasn't a terrible flavor (if you like Worcestershire), but I'm left wondering if it's a result of Hot Wings Sauce having gone bad (is it safe to eat?) or whether this is what to expect.Always on the lookout for no-salt options and want companies like this to survive - but had hoped for a better flavor for the premium price being paid and I'm unsure of whether to risk buying again.

Since I checked out of the hospital for Congestive heart failure I figured I'd never taste another Buffalo hot wing in my life. Just too much salt and calories. This owed mostly to the salt and additives in the sauce. Mr. Spice Organic Hot Wing Sauce allowed me to make the most delicious baked wings. I'm very happy. I can not have these all the time because of the high fat of the chicken itself but this at least allows me to enjoy some of these occasionally which is more than I figured was ever possible again.

I was happy I was finally able to find a brand of salt free / low sodium sauces. These arrived today and they taste amazing !! The hot wing sauce had a surprising kick of heat that lasted in my taste buds , it also has a hint of sweetness to it as well. Very impressed and I can't wait to try other flavours.
Good heat, good flavor.
Hard to find a wing hot sauce that has good heat without sacrificing good flavor. This one has it.
