I hate that I love this because it’s so expensive! However, I have not found a dupe for this, and I’ve tried a lot of mineral sunscreens. For reference, I am 47, peri menopausal and have dry, sensitive skin. I’m a light neutral complexion, think NW20 in MAC. This goes on almost like an oil and at first I wasn’t sure because it’s so thin that it wouldn’t protect my skin from the sun, but it did a great job and it doesn’t sting my eyes (I wear their minerals rescue as a foundation and if I’m going to be sweating, it burns too much, so I wear this instead).I’m not sure if oily prone people would like this because it is so greasy at first, but it dries down nicely and is not sticky on me.

I heard about this sunscreen from my dermatologist. I asked what sunscreens she recommended, and she and her assistant suggested this one. The assistant said that it feels light on the skin, it’s the mineral based kind (which is the only type you should use!), and it gives a tint to your skin. I had tried the Cera Ve brand tinted mineral sunscreen, but it gave my skin an oily feel. The La Roche-Posay sunscreen feels light and comfortable on my face and neck, not a bit oily. My skin feels smooth, and I like the added tint of color for most days when I don’t wear foundation.An added note: My dermatologist recommends wearing mineral sunscreen every day, even if it’s cloudy outside or if you are not going to be outside for long periods of time. She also suggests making sure your hands are always protected with sunscreen, as they can get damage as well.La Roche-Posay is more expensive than Cera Ve and other drugstore brands, but it is an investment in your skin. I am very pleased with this choice!

This is the only facial SPF I've used for about 3 years now. It's a mineral sunscreen so it never stings my eyes. It dries quickly after you put it on with no tacky or dewy feel. Makeup goes on over it without any problem. I do think it has a slight white overcast but I'm pretty fair skinned and I can wear it with no makeup and you can't tell I have anything on.

This goes on smooth and looks just like my foundation, only it's a tad dark on me. I took away a started because I only wished it would dry down, instead of feeling slippery and wet on my face.

My Dermatologist recommended La Roche-Posay along with a couple others. I’ve tried the daytime moisturizer and loved it. I decided to try this tinted sunscreen moisturizer. Compared the color chart to my current product color and took a chance. I totally love it. It feels so good on my face and can tell a difference between my older product and my La-Roche. I am gradually changing my skin line to La-Roche line. So glad I took this step. I had been using my other line for at least 3 years. Thank you!

This was a huge disappointment once again unfortunately. This really burns / stings my eyes. Since I need sunscreen most on hot sunny days, I won’t be buying this again. You don’t even need to sweat. It just migrates into your eyes if you’re the least bit warm.I originally bought the medium tint (which is normally where I am in makeup ranges), but it was way too dark for a milky-tea complexion.Texture is great. It’s a thin, runny spreadable liquid, not thick/heavy, not rough, and not hard to blend. Compared to other mineral sunscreens, the texture is far better but still slightly too runny. Still it goes on well beneath makeup or on its own.But for me the stinging in my eyes was a deal breaker.

Soy de piel ultra sensible y quería un protector mineral sin color y que fuera ligero de textura y este me encantó.En primer lugar debo decir que con 2 deditos de producto es más que suficiente para toda la cara.Sí deja un rastro blanquecino, a pesar que tengo piel muy blanca, se llega a notar ligeramente, pero si usas base de maquillaje encima, se soluciona el problema.No tiene acabado aceitoso, sin embargo deja un efecto "glowy" en la piel debido a que refleja la luz y así proteje del sol, nada que un poco de polvito traslúcido no solucione.Deja una textura de apariencia tersa en la piel, como un primer de maquillaje, disminuye la apariencia de las texturas de la piel.Y lo mejor es que al tener óxido de zinc, realmente ayuda a mantener una piel linda, hidratada y saludable. A veces por agentes externos mi piel se irrita y después de todo un día de llevar puesto ese protector solar, cuando me lavo la cara, noto que toda irritación se fue y me deja un aspecto muy sano en mi cara.

okay so it is a fine sunscreen. but the question is that does it worth that amount of money? the answer is NO. I won't buy it again unless it comes down to £23 or around that. it does not do anything special, it did not have an anti aging effect on my skin. it only glides nicely on skin and is light . nothing else.
