Well, packed with double thickness, cardboard. Item itself also sturdy. Has cute little handles on the sides that I hadn't noticed. And bigger than I thought 10 inches high. I have had to put everything in my kitchen into containers because of mice. Mostly glass jars. But I wanted a few items that added a little character to the kitchen. This was it. Absolutely thrilled with this purchase. Thank you so much.

Great graphics! The lid is snug enough, but not hard to lift off the tin. We use it to put dog treats in, it will hold several small pouches of treats.
