I had been using Truvia as I've tried to phase out aspartame in our house. The one drawback to Truvia, for me, is the bitter taste that comes with it.My brother brought this product on our beach vacation this year so I thought I'd try it out. It tastes so much better and no bitter aftertaste!As soon as I got back home, I ordered a big box. That's all I use now. If you use Stevia that has a bitter taste, make the change! You'll be glad you did!

In terms of sweetness, Pure Via does a pretty good job. It's slightly above average in terms of sweetness, so you don't need to use a ton of it to get the desired level of sweetness in your coffee or tea. Pros: This stevia is an integral part of my daily life and I'm thankful to buy easy measurements in bulk like this. The safe and natural sweetener. I use it for fruit and cottage cheese, smoothies, tea and coffee. Blends immediately, mild and no texture. Great product itself.Cons: occasionally the box will show up with about 40% of the packets not being completely sealed on one end. This means the box will already have some stevia everywhere inside and you're not getting what you pay for. You might think it's just a few or part of the packaging process but it turns out a significant portion are likely open. When you go to shake them before tearing them open, the stevia then flies everywhere. By then it's too late to get a refund or replacement because you've been dealing with it for so long. So check your whole box before starting to use!
