My household consist of six adults and a two year old. A couple of us are diabetics which means we all use the artificial sweetened pancake syrup when having Sunday breakfast and have been doing this for quite some time now. I finally decided to do a little research on ways to change what we all eat and one was getting rid of all the artificial stuff we buy. Trying this type and brand of maple syrup was a real treat; for one the ingredient is just one thing Maple sap or syrup that's it. Hell we have it with pancakes, my brother B B ques with it, my sister bakes with it and my little niece doesn't get all wild and crazy like she is on a sugar rush when she eats it. We like the thickness - not thick like honey but not as runny as water - and how little you have to use. Remember this, if it comes from a plant eat it and if it is produced or manufactured in a plant run from it. This is real plant food.....simple.

This is the best maple syrup I've ever tasted. I use it for many things...which is surprising to me because I generally am not at all a fan of maple syrup flavor foods. I assume it's because this is the way it's supposed to taste!

As expected, it was quite good. We went through it very quickly and was thinking about getting more...but found it at WinCo for eight bucks. Yup, 8 dollars. So, although delicious, it's not 20+ dollar delicious.

We love the syrup!BUT Bolo's packaging is terrible. Everytime we order this product, it is thrown in a box without padding, resulting in the bottle cap cracking EVERY TIME.

Dare I say this? I will! This is the best maple syrup I have ever tasted. We've been using Stowe Maple Products maple syrup for the last two years, given to us by my sister who ordered it directly from the source. So Stowe was what I was looking for when I "Boloed" for our next little keg. Unfortunately, Stowe isn't sold on Bolo so after carefully searching and reading reviews I ordered Coombs Family. Wow! I'm sold. To me, this tastes better than Stowe. I'm not a Maple syrup aficionado (apart from know I like pure maple syrup); I can only attest to what my taste buds get a bang out of. Coombs Family Farm is definitely it for me.

Forgive me syrup, I thought you were too expensive and purchased another brand. I am filled with regret, for you are truly worth the money. You are better than even the Whole Foods branded one. Even though my parents live near Chardon, OH in the maple syrup capitol of the world, you are better than any that their friends make who have little businesses. Why is it that you taste more like maple than all of these others? I don't know, but others taste cloyingly sweet and flavorless by comparison.
