Tried numerous tire plug kits at work, this one takes the cake in quality & sturdiness. Purchased my own that remains in my car for any unforeseen moments. It costs more than the cheap ones, but you truly are paying for quality and a peace of mind that this set wont bend, flex or break for years! Ensure the set screws are tight before use and you're good to go.

I've only made one repair but came away very impressed with the kit. The repair I made was successful. I watched Blackjack's youtube video that had easy to follow instructions.The best part of this kit is the handles. They're very solid. You do have to tighten the set screw that holds the spear or hook because they weren't initially tight. But that was obvious to me.The only drawback to me was that there's no labeling telling you of the different sizes of plugs that are supplied. There's a regular and a large that I figured out after physical examination. I used the regular size as my hole was from a small screw. But lack of labeling was not a big enough deal to dock a star.I'll update if I have subsequent problems with this kit. But for all appearances, I think it will last many years.

Been using these kits for 10+ years. They work very well. Because the handles are much stronger than most “cheap” kits, makes them much easier to use and very effective.From experience, does not work great with bias ply tires (no strands of wire to keep the plug intact) but, could definitely get you out of a bind.I use them on cars, trucks, trailers, graders, skid steers, etc.Just follow the instructions.

We have a fleet of vans and trucks working on construction sites. Most shops won't plug a tire and will only remove them from the rim and patch from the inside. I've been using plugs for over 20 years and these work great. We can plug them in minutes, saving time off the job and these are around $1 each.
4.0 out of 5 stars YES, THE TOOLS ARE MASSIVE AND WELL BUILT, BUT...
I purchased this based on the product description and customer reviews and photos, so I fully expected the tools to be extremely massive, well-built and durable. My final decision to purchase, however, was based on the scant information provided by the company that the tire plugs "conforms to the shape and size of the injury" and "seals the injury completely through the tire." Based on this I expected some type of propriety plug material that molded and expanded when inserted. I was very surprised when I received the kit to find (a large number of) the typical woven butyl rubber-infused plugs that I have always used and are found in most standard repair kits. So if your are looking for good tools and (hopefully) a lifetime supply of plugs, this is the kit for you. If, however, you have a tire that could not be satisfactorily plugged using standard tire repair plugs and are looking for a different or superior type of plug, you might save your money and try another kit.
