These are great for travel. I have a 43" 4 year old who fits great. The mattress is 2 pieces, the mattress is the size of a standard crib mattress and you can use regular crib sheets on it. The outer buffer is a 2nd piece. Each of the two pieces blows up separately. They did not have a strong plastic smell as I was expecting. The kids were very comfortable, for suitcase space on a flight, I only took the mattress pieces, I have 2 of these for my 2 kids. They slept great even without the inflatable edge. They blow up easy enough with an included foot pump. It takes a little time, but it's easy and the kids made a game of it and did most of the work. They have so far lasted for 2 week long trips and still hold up strong. Would definitely reccommend and I would definitely buy again.

We purchased this for a three night vacation and my 2.5 year old loved it! Not only was she super excited to sleep on her new blow up bed, but she also slept great the whole trip! I love how the bed has a bumper all the way around it and crib sheets fit it perfectly. Only downside is the time it takes to blow it up with the pump. Great quality bed for the price though!

So happy with this purchase. We bought it for a week long vacation at an airbnb and our 3 year old loved it. It fits a standard crib sheet on the mattress. The pump works well and it doesn't take too long to inflate. It stayed inflated the entire week. The high sides are great so they don't fall out. Our 3 year old still has plenty of room, I think she can use it for several more years.

I've purchased two of these air mattresses for my grandkids, and I have to say, they've been a lifesaver. They're just the right size for kids over 2 years old and up. A standard crib sheet fits on the pad for size reference. I do recall there being a warning about not using them with really small children 18 month and under or something to that effect , so it's essential to check the box or description for any safety guidelines. For my purposes, though, they've been fantastic.We used an air compressor to blow them up( took a few minutes), and they inflated nicely. I don't think I would want to inflate it with the hand pump. Now, deflating them was a bit of a hassle. You can't just open the air valve and let it do its thing; you have to pinch it open to get the air out, which can be a bit inconvenient. But apart from that, and the time it takes to deflate and roll them back up, they work like a charm. Plus, they're easy to store and transport, which is a big plus in my book. Overall, a great purchase for keeping the grandkids comfy and happy during visits.

My family travels a bunch and my son just transitioned out of a crib so this blow up toddler bed was amazing! He was so excited about it and it’s comfortable. When he woke up in the middle of the night I was even able to lay in it with him. It takes a little bit to deflate but that’s not a big deal. The bag it comes with it great for storing it as well! I was super happy with this purchase.

I will start off by saying that my 2 (almost 3) year old absolutely loves this bed and finds it very comfortable and cool. However, I did find it hard to set up with the manual pump provided. First, it was manual, but second, it doesn't fit into the air hole very well and you immediately lose a ton of air when taking it out leaving the bed slightly deflated. Given I purchased this to be a travel bed where I will be setting it up many times, the ease of pumping it up made me lower the stars.
Great for toddlers
I don't write many reviews but have to for this one. Very impressed with the bed, it's perfect for travel and comes with a great hand pump that doesn't take long to blow up the bed. Once blown up, the bed is a good size and strong. Holds the air really well and even though the matress part of it isn't thick, I was able to sleep on it with my 2 year old comfortably and without sinking through the matress to the floor (I'm 6'2", 200lbs). If you need a travel matress for a toddler, get this one. It's great.
