    This soap is miraculous. You wet the area with the stain, rub in the soap and 15 minutes later you rinse it and the stain is gone. All kinds of stain. It even worked on a mark from Sharpie permanent marker (with some difficulty and repeated applications, but there are also specialized stain removers).I will never use anything else.

    The original formula is amazing at getting out stains. Just a heads up to potential buyers, this is NOT the original formula like what is shown in the listing, it is a new formula. I'm hoping this new formula works just as well.

    Ox gall soaps are great for removing stains -- especially from skin oils and cooking oils. This one, unfortunately, has a strong fragrance, and I have severe environmental sensitivities. The smell is not flowery, but soapy. Some people might have a positive reaction to it, but it nauseates me, and is likely to give me migraine.
