This is by far the best mineral powder foundation on the market. It's light but great coverage and so many color choices, you can't get it wrong. And best is it doesn't settle into wrinkles and look like a fake plastic face. I have been using it since my early 30's and I am 65 now. It just takes care of your skin at any age. For moms helping your teenage daughters just getting into makeup and foundations start them here! It is great, light and doesn't sweat off. Just the best!

I’ve been using BM loose powder foundation for at least 10 years. I absolutely love it! It’s very natural looking, has buildable coverage, does not dry your skin, and has more natural ingredients. I’ve sometimes mixed the Fairly Medium with the Golden Medium and that looks great. I have pretty fair and sensitive skin and it gets very dry in the colder weather. This foundation has always been wonderful to my skin! Highly recommend!

i've been using this make up since i was probably 19-20 so definetly for at least a decaded. as i've aged, i definetly look for something with more coverage but they have that cakey feeling. for extra coverage i use a bb cream before or a thin layer of liqud foundation. but even just wearing bareminerals, you come out looking gorgeos in pictures without looking like you have make up caked on and more natural. definetly does not cause break outs. Wish the brushes were as nice as they were back then.

I've been using Bare Mnerals for well over a decade. I've dabbled in other grocery or drug store available powder foundations, even some liquid, but I don't care for the heavy feel of liquid, and it is harder to blend. I'm not looking for an Instagram worthy 25 layer finish. I just want to smooth out redness and age spots to look smoother overall, but not "made up." This works perfectly and blends effortlessly. No harsh lines or obvious demarcation if you miss a spot. It doesn't highlight the natural lines and wrinkles at all and is weightless. I love it.

I’ve been using Bare Minerals matte loose powder makeup for 12 years. It’s very easy and quick to apply. It lasts all day and looks natural. I’m so glad that Bolo carries it now so that I can receive it the next day after ordering it. The price has been stable also, who is good.

I'd suggest getting color matched at an Ulta or the mall because the names of the colors have changed. I thought I could get away with a slight warm (03 I think) because its summer but it was way too yellow and I ended up just going with the lightest color available. I actually use less now that I've gone with the lighter color which is the point of using mineral foundation anyways.They DO NOT list their colors from lightest to darkest, there are variants between the cools, neutrals and warms that can be drastically darker even tho it's a lower number, or drastically lighter even tho it's a higher number. It'd be great if they sold the starter kits with 3 or so shades so you could take a guess and at least get one that matches without having to guess you're shade online. If you don't know your color ahead of time I strongly encourage you to get color matched in store until they have a more cohesive color line up. Other than that, this is the mineral makeup I have loved and used for over 15 years. I do have to touch up every few hours because I have oily skin, even tho I use acne medication. If I scratch or rub my face I just dab a little where it's missing and put another layer of mineral Veil on top. One of the big benefits of this makeup is that you can touch it up easily and flawlessly without having to take everything off and start over. If you sweat a lot or have very oily skin you know how big of a deal that is and is basically a make or break for me because most other foundations if I smudge it I basically have to take off my entire face of foundation and start over because there's no possible way to reapply or touch up one spot.Also if you go a shade lighter as opposed to darker and don't over apply you can really make it look like you're wearing nothing at all. If you feel like you have to use a lot more than instructed you probably aren't using the right shade. When I was using a shade that was slightly too yellow I felt like I have to use a ton, but once I found a better match I barely had to use any. I start around my eyes and nose and once I'm happy with the coverage there I blend it out work what's left on the brush.I've used tons of other foundations and this is still my favorite. It's also the only foundation that doesn't make me break out, even if I forget to wash it off.

Great product
Really good for my sensitive skin
I have always struggled with sensitive skin prone to break outs. Also, since I have very yellow undertones I have struggled to find a good hue foundation. This product is really good for my skin; I seem to have no problems with break outs while using this and also it seems to improve the texture of my skin.The only thing I don't love about it is that its easy to make a bit of a mess when applying it; getting powder on my clothes, wash basin, table or whatever is around. But that's my fault, not the product's ;)
