5.0 out of 5 stars Super good oil, don’t let the price fool you.
Really great product. It’s very affordable but don’t let that fool you. Quicksilver is owned by mercury marine. QuickSilvers primary function is to sell mercury marine engine parts under the quicksilver brand. They are all the same parts but the quicksilver brand stores can distribute. Mercury parts only authorized service centers can sell. So quicksilver only exists for this reason. It was later in quicksilvers history when they started doing the motorcycle and other parts.Mercury is an interesting company. I’m a Mercury certified tech and I see a lot of stuff working primarily on military vessels. Obviously Mercury has their own line of fluids and lubricants (exactly the same as quicksilver just a different bottle). Outboard marine engines are under constant load, in some of the harshest conditions on earth (salt water, salt air etc). The boats I work on are beat to crap by the us navy, abused on missions and they drive them like they stole them so to say. Those engines are under as much or more load as say a moto gp bike. Never have I seen an issue that was because of the oil breaking down or failing. We only use quicksilver and mercury oil. So I figure if they can design engine oil for those 300+ hp outboard engines operating in crappy conditions and being abused than oil for my bike is not an issue for them. I run this oil in my cbr 600rr. Another tech at my work runs it in his gsxr600. We love it. I used to use way more expensive oil and really see zero difference. After 2000 miles of hard riding the quicksilver oil is basically the same color and viscosity as several more expensive oils I have used in the same bike. I won’t ever use anything else. If you pay more than this for oil you are throwing away money as this is a solid product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Buy
Good Oil for my ATV, will definitely repurchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars great budget oil
been running this oil for years in my everyday bikes and have never had any issues I would not recommend using in a performance application however if you are looking for performance oil go look at AMSOIL.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works fine
Decent oil depending on the price. Performs much like any other oil I have used. Most oils manufactured today are of good quality meeting established ratings JASO MA2 etc. with only subtle differences the average user really won't see. I ride my bikes like an average user so even conventional oils work fine be it with a slight reduction in longevity/shift feel.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Oil!
Put this in my 1994 Honda Magna VF750 about a month ago, works great, no complaints here.
5.0 out of 5 stars good quality
works great for my motorcycle
5.0 out of 5 stars Good oil
The characteristics
5.0 out of 5 stars I am in disbelief how good it is.
Put this in my Kawasaki Vulcan S and MAN what a difference. I previously used one of the big oil manufacturers and noticed it was about the same as OEM. Since my bike only takes 2 quarts of oil I got 2 oil changes worth! I've gone on 2 rides since the change:This is SO much better than OEM it's not even funny. Shifting feels extremely smooth and with almost no resistance. The engine even starts easier and quicker. The engine runs noticeably smoother, with a small but noticeable increase in throttle response.Granted it's only been 2 days but I will update this review if anything changes. If you don't see an edit, this stuff is incredible.
