I needed a low stool in my closet to reach things on the shelf and this works well. Finding a low step up stool for a hefty adult isn't easy. Most stools have a big step up--not something I can manage with my bad knees. The short ones are often for children and have a low weight limit. I bought the two I could find to try out, a wooden one and this one. Then my daughter pulled out the low one she'd used when her kids were small and that worked acceptably for me to get in their large SUV on a recent trip, but it suffered under my weight and I fear wouldn't have lasted long without breaking where the ones I'd purchased, including this one, are much sturdier. I decided to keep both because I have trouble reaching high shelves in the kitchen and the bedroom closets.This little stool tucks into my closet and is convenient to use when putting things away on the shelf or retrieving them. It's easy to move around because the cutout in the base serves as a good handhold and it is very lightweight. Still, it feels very sturdy to stand on. It easily holds 250 lbs. The small unfinished wooden one I bought works best in the kitchen because I could stain it to match my hardwood floor.This stool also has a slip proof top and base and could be used outside if necessary to water high hanging baskets for example, and could be hosed clean as needed.

We LOVE this step stool! We use it all day long with our 2 year old. We just potty trained her and she's going potty a lot so that means we're always washing her hands! She absolutely loves this step stool so much and loves when she's able to stand on it. I bought it because it has rubber on the top and also all along the bottom that way there's no way she can slip and fall while she's standing on it. It's a great size and the height is perfect. I paired it with this adorable, and super helpful, faucet extender: Aqueduck Faucet Extender (crystal Pink), Crystal Pink that way she can feel like such a big girl because she's able to reach the water with no problem all by herself! The plastic on this Joovy step stool is a thick heavy duty plastic and it's worth every penny that I spent on it! We're going to use this stool for a very long time!

Well made and just the right height to help me reach the high shelves. This stool has a non-slip bottom which makes me feel secure when using it. It's very easy to carry from room to room. I am very happy with this product.

but I am afraid it might flip for the purpose I bought it--getting into a car. I kept it though as it was not expensive and I might be able to use it inside the house when I have other support. ( I laterpurchased a health store aluminum step stool for outdoors.) The manufacturers did state a weight limit which did not apply to me but I do feel this stool is more suited for use by children.

I've had this step stool for two years or so, and I love it. I love that it's nice and basic and neutral, not a frog or bright teal or musical or sparkly. I love the treads that keep my kids from slipping. I love how stable it is when you stand on it--no tipping over or scooting, thanks to the treads on the bottom and the wide base. It's not too tall, so I'm comfortable with my younger kids using it. It's easy for potty training kids to pick up and move between the potty and the sink as they need to, and they like to sit on it while we brush teeth. All for a very reasonable price!

I bough this step stool because of the high mattress that I now have. This step stool is a one piece construction so that you do not have to worry about it collapsing on you. Non-skid rubber covers the entire the top platform and the base is completely lined with non-skid rubber that gives it a solid footing. It will work great on a carpet or hard surface floor. The height is 6" so it is easy to step onto. Most important it supports weight up to 300 lbs.. Yes, 5 thumbs up!!

El banquito es macizo y de buen material, antiderrapante. Pongo mala calificación porque es MUY bajito, en la descripción dice 15.9 pulgadas de alto cuando en realidad son 15.9 CENTÍMETROS... No sirve para que un niño pequeño alcance el lavabo, por ejemplo. Si usted lo quiere para que su niño (2-4 años) alcance cosas, no sirve.
