About this item:
With the Hamilton Beach Bowl Scraper Food Processor, there's no need to stop and remove the lid to dislodge food from the side of the bowl. The built-in scraper does the work for you, even while the processor is on for continuous processing. Kitchen tips: For a more uniform consistency, start with pieces of food that are similar in size. Cut food into 1-inch (2.5-cm) pieces before processing with the chopping/mixing blade and leave room in the bowl for the food to be tossed around. When chopping foods, pulsing on and off will produce the best results. Operating time will depend on the quantity of food being processed. Most foods can be sliced, chopped, or shredded in seconds. To slice or shred cheese, use firm cheeses like Cheddar or Swiss that have been chilled for at least 30 minutes. Soft cheese like Mozzarella must be placed in the freezer for 30 minutes prior to processing to ensure it is firm enough for shredding. All removable parts are top rack dishwasher safe.

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent reasonably priced food processor works great for peanut butter
(function(){ P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function'){ A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })() I have never owned a food processor, I just wanted to make my own zero salt zero sugar zero crap added high-quality peanut butter from peanuts only it’s hard to find this kind of peanut butter and it’s two or three times more expensive than all the garbage peanut butter out there. I was attracted to this particular product because of the little hand wheel that scrapes the side of the bowl I felt this would help with making peanut butter and it does. I have made several batches of excellent peanut butter with this food processor. It works great for that. I also made some homemade salsa that was easy to make and tastes better than anything I’ve even had at a nice Mexican restaurant. The price of this food processor was also very reasonable.
5.0 out of 5 stars love how it handles carrots
I bought this product to shred carrots, which I love. It replaces an Oster with a broken part that I cannot replace. This Hamilton Beach device is much lighter than the Oster and the motor seems much more powerful. It shreds a carrot much faster than the Oster ever could. I don't really remember what I'd paid for the Oster or when I'd actually bought it, but I think this machine is significantly cheaper.
5.0 out of 5 stars High quality and flexibility!
My 1st Hamilton Standard food processor is still working after 15 years, but the plastic is quite worn as I use it several times every single day, and I felt it was time to upgrade. I did look at the HS model with lock in plastic clamps, but i figured they could snap eventually. I never had a problem with lining up the bowl or the tools, but I guess some people do. I am SO pleased with this product, it works wonderfully! They thought of everything- slice, shred, puree, ribbon and spiralizer- they all are flawless. There is even a brush to clean the blades of ribbon and spiralizer! And there are suctions on the bottom, so I don't have to try to keep it in place. Even my husband was impressed, he tried all the attachments and said I had made a great choice!
4.0 out of 5 stars Good investment
I bought this hamilton beach food processor for daily use in kitchen, its a versatile product which I can use for chopping wide range of vegetables from tough one like onions, potatoes ,carrots to softer one like tomatoes overall the output wattage of this machine is good.I like the one blade do all concept ,i have used many other food processors in the past which came with different blades for chopping and different set of blades for making dough ,but it was a hassle to store all the blades ,this one feature is really good.I made paav bhaji for which i have to chop variety of vegetables and which takes a very long time doing manually,i was able to do it in under 5 mins using this machine. It very good for dough making the side scrapper is a very unique feature which reduces wastes and afterwards cleaning efforts.I tried to churn buttermilk to make butter which also turned out wellOver all do as it promised, good productOnly downside of this is when you are using the shredding blade you don't have the choice to adjust thickness of the shredding or slices
5.0 out of 5 stars Love the Bowl Scraper
The bowl scraper is a function that is hard to find in a lower-priced food processor. I like it because it definitely helps achieve more uniformity in chopping and processing, as it directs what is pushed to the outside, back towards the blade. Liquids aren't an issue due to the vortex (tornado- like motion) formed by the blade, but solids would otherwise remain on the outer edge of the bowl. The 450-Watt motor seems to provide plenty of power for most uses. More expensive processors may have a larger motor and that may lead to a longer life for those units. A processor at this one's price range can't be expected to last ten years if used often, but for non-prifessionals it should be fine. The versatility of chopping, slicing, shredding and pureeing is a plus. An ordinary blender just can't compete. I also like that it has two speeds and a pulse capability. After a bit of searching, I settled on this processor for the combination of affordability, function, good reviews, name brand, and the bowl scraper.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice
I like the style of this product. It scared me half to death when I turned it on. It's loud which I knew it would be from watching the videos. I will give an update when I try my frozen fruit.
5.0 out of 5 stars A great kitchen workhorse
This is a great food processor, I love how non-bells and whistle it is. The mixer/scrapper for pureeing works surprisingly well. The blades and graters seem reliably sturdy, I wouldn't go banging them off walls and stuff but this is a solid food processor that I expect to get years out of, with almost daily use.
5.0 out of 5 stars Food processor
This is the best food processor I have ever bought. Works exactly as it should and the build quality is perfect. Has different speeds and is so easy to use. It’s easy to store and shreds up anything I throw into it. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for one. Can’t beat the price point either.

Picador de verduras
Excelentes materiales y practico, pica rápido, ideal para amas de casa
another great product from ham. beach!
Easy to use. Lightweight , and sticks to the counter.Does all that is advertised very well. In the last six months I have bought a second hb oven after my first one gave up after twelve long years of use. I also bought a mixer. Love it. And now the chopper, which I love. Company should maybe give rebates or some other compensation to induce frequent buyers. Would highly recommend!
Ws complete waste of time -processor did not work and fumes every where .Literally frightening.
Dont waste your money on this product.
Poor Poor Poor Product. My 2 cents don't waste your money or time on this. Not built for India, perhaps or poor products sent to
Here is the lowdown, the blender worked perfectly for three weeks without any issues. Although each time i went for a bowl of hummus or guacamole i would smell the burning of wires. I was told this is common off Hamilton products! After three weeks the kitchen reeked of burnt and suddenly just stopped working. I contacted the seller who said that less than 6 months and the product is out of warranty. So i took the piece to a local electrician who said the wires burned off. After repairing it, again the kitchen started reeking and the piece went silent on me. I took it again to the electrician who said another part went bad and handed it back too me. I spun it 1 more time and boom it went silent on me.
