This reasonably, Bolo priced item, is often hard to find in stores. Bolo again to the rescue for more times than I care to admit. No issues with this replacement cartridge for my Braun 7 shaver.

My Model 7 shaver was pretty much a wreck. It was dirty, corroded and was a mess that did not perform well. I had never changed the head and was confused by all of the replacement parts available on Bolo. So, I ordered the one that clearly had Braun packaging. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time (about a week) and I removed the old head and soaked the shaver in rubbing alcohol to clean it up as best I could. I was skeptical that the new part would fit but it was perfect. It has given my old shaver a new lease on life. I would have given it 5 stars (the performance is very good now) but the cost is too high. It was actually shipped to me from somewhere in the UK and so it took time. The "free shipping" probably adds greatly to the cost. But, it you cannot find a genuine replacement part in the US, this one is a good choice.

I’ve had a series 7 razor for three or four years and this is probably the fourth or fifth blade. I’ve put on it. It really does make a difference to replace these. I bought generic ones the last time I replaced them and it was night and day pretty rough with those generic ones. These are much smoother.

desde la primera rasurada con las nuevas cuchillas una gran diferencia, rasurada al ras y muy bien con muy pocas pasadas y por tanto poco tiempo para realizar la rasurada. Habia olvidado lo bien que rasura mi maquina hasta que cambie por esta nuevo repuesto.

Recambio de cabezal para la máquina de afeitar Braun de la serie 7. Me parece un buen producto, permite seguir usando mi vieja máquina de afeitar sin tener que comprar una máquina nueva.Para que os hagáis una idea de su duración, diré que yo la uso para afeitarme la cabeza día si día no, primero hago pasadas en vertical y después en horizontal, y este recambio me dura entre 11 y 18 meses. La media estaría en unos 15 o 16 meses, y evidentemente al final de su vida útil no tiene el mismo tipo de apurado que al inicio (que es buenísimo) pero puedes conseguirlo aplicando el doble de pasadas.El cabezal está compuesto por la base y tres bloques de corte. Los dos bloques laterales son iguales y tienen una rejilla, sirven para apurar y rasurar. El bloque central sirve para cortar los pelos más largos para que los bloques laterales puedan rasurarlos posteriormente.Llevo años comprando este recambio y puedo decir que en el 90% de las ocasiones su vida útil termina cuando se rompe el bloque central. Aun así, si lo sacamos se puede seguir usando el cabezal sólo con los bloques laterales para rasurar, si usáramos la máquina cada día no habría problema porque el pelo nunca crecería lo suficiente como para necesitar el bloque central.Si se rompe un bloque lateral (los de rasurar) suele ser siempre debido a la rotura de la rejilla de protección, lo bueno es que si eres un poco manitas es sencillo cambiarlo por otro que tengas de un cabezal antiguo, aunque com digo prácticamente siempre se rompe el bloque central y ese si que no tiene arreglo pues se rompe una pieza básica de su estructura metálica.La parte mala de todo esto: no he encontrado ningún otro recambio original ni el la web de Braun, ni en otros portales ni en internet, por lo que el vendedor lo tiene a un precio francamente elevado. De momento si no sobrepasa los 50 € seguramente siga comprándolo pero ya está al límite al cual reconsideraría comprar una máquina nueva que utilice los nuevos cabezales de la marca.PROS- Funciona bien- Vida útil aceptable- Recambio originalCONS- Precio muy elevado
