Works like a charm. Well made crushes ice in a blink of an eye. Three speeds and pulse whips up just about anything you put in it. Really a powerful blender. Love the individual cups that come with it. A good value. Easy to use

I love my ninja. Easily blends any type of smoothie. The single serve function is great for when kiddos have conflicting palates. Easily cleaned in dishwasher. Super sharp blending attachments. Accidentally cut myself while cleaning it. Has a safety feature where it will not turn on when the pitcher isn't on the base in case toddler pushes the button before your ready (which he did). Only downfall is that they pitcher and single serve cups are a hard plastic. It would be better if they were glass. But overall would definitely purchase again.

First let me say "Read the directions" Having said this, I love this blender. I have had so many over the years including one I ordered a couple of months ago that is now on the way to Goodwill. Big ones, little ones, personal size ones. I use one every day to make a almond milk, frozen fruit smoothie. I am 79 years old and have problems with ones that you have to fill and then turn upside down, push down to lock and then open up after ... I was looking for one with the lid on the top that I could just pick up, take the lid off and drink. I bought this one because of the brand and knew that NInja makes a really good blender. I did not realize how big this one was. It worked great and made a great smoothie. However it was too big for my morning drink and decided to go back to Bolo and see if I could find a smaller one with enough power to make a good smoothie. NOW THIS IS WHERE READ THE DIRECTIONS COMMENT COMES FROM. On the base it says single serve, I kept pushing it and nothing happened. I get out the directions and finally read them. This blender comes with smaller cups!!! So now I can use the smaller cup that sits on the base and blends and then just drink! It is one that you have top turn upside down, but locking and unlocking is very easy and the lid twists off without a problem for my old hands......... so now I actually have 2 blenders, one for making larger quantity of things like salsa, shakes, etc AND ONE FOR MY MORNING SMOOTHIE. Spend the money and get this one, it is awesome and well worth it. It checks off all the box's of what I was looking for. ENJOY!!

I love this blender. It’s very powerful. 3 power settings which is really all I need. I’ve had it for 2 years and it’s still going strong. I usually use it for shakes and smoothies. It pulls the food down and chops it up very well. I don’t end up with any chunks in my smoothies or strawberry shakes. And it makes a lot each time. Great for all my teenagers. Very easy to take apart, clean, put together and store. It also requires you to lock it in place before it will power up, so you never have messes. Great blender!!

This blender has plenty of power, it works well for blending most things. The three speed setting are good plus the pulse feature. I am a little disappointed in how complicated the safety features are. I feel like if one little tab snaps off the unit will not work. I get the nanny state we live in these days and that companies are trying to shield from litigation, but we have gone a little overboard. Also I have noticed especially when making horchata that it does not blend the mixture quite as fine as my older blender. The first few times I ran it, it did smell like I was possibly cooking the windings. It had that hot motor smell. Otherwise it is a decent quality product that has plenty of power and seems well built with thick material.

Without a doubt, I made a great choice when choosing this blender. It has 2 cup options, which makes it much easier. It is super easy to clean because the internal blades of the large cup are removable. And the blades spread across 3 compartments make everything blended more efficiently.
