5.0 out of 5 stars Unlike some other dried fruits, these are fantastic!
These banana chips make for a great snack right out of the can, or mixed with other handy ingredients. They are sweet, but not ridiculously so, certainly not like a sugar cereal level of sweetness. Some pieces are firmer than others. If you don't like a good amount of crunch you might find them a bit much. I let them soften up a bit before crunching down and have no problems.

Stashing snacks for the apocalypse (or just a rainy day)? These Augason Farms Banana Chips come in a giant can #10 can and last for ages (up to 10 years!). They're also a big ol' bag of sweetness, thanks to sugar and honey. The good stuff:• Last forever: Perfect for prepping or just stocking up on snacks.• Big bag o' chips: Great for families or if you like having a lot of options around.• Sweet and tasty: Most people seem to dig the flavor.• Resealable can: Keeps the chips fresh after you open it.Things to keep in mind:• Sugar overload: These are pretty sweet, so be mindful if you're watching sugar intake.• Not for everyone: Some folks find them too sweet. (We think they are perfect!)• Pricey upfront: The big can might seem like a good deal per ounce, but it's still a big chunk of change.• Not quite natural: There's some artificial banana flavoring in there.Overall, these chips are a decent choice if you're looking for a long-lasting, sweet snack. Just remember, they pack a sugary punch, and the giant size might not be for everyone.
5.0 out of 5 stars yeayyyy!!!!!
Bananas galore!!! I came back to look at what I paid for these thinking this is like a pot of gold. So $15 bucks! Great! these taste so good and are a big bananaeeey color. It is a huge container. I think the idea of the long ten year shelf life this offers is pretty cool. Could feed me for a month... I tell youDefinitely a great buy!

They are so good.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good enough
These banana chips are very good tasting; however, some of the chips are a bit too hard. Those hard chips are almost like biting ice and that's not good for the teeth. The regular chips are great. Also, the tin cans are sometimes difficult to open with a can opener. The tin cans do keep the chips fresh. I'm debating as to whether I'll purchase this item again.

Great product. I eat them in my cereal for fiber. Love the can they come in. Have purchased several times.
Solid buy
Was hoping to just keep this for an emergency, and then an emergency came. The No.10 can is sturdy and the label is clear. If you are concerned about water damage, I would recommend making a waterproof label. If you plan on resealing the can or using some of the contents afterwards, you MUST use a traditional can opener(or something that will not leave the clean outer edge). The plastic lid has to sit and catch on the outer rim of the lid. if you cut it off with a smooth edge can opener, the lid will not work. The taste of the banana chips was ideal. I could not tell it apart from a fresh batch from the grocery store.I would buy this again and I recommend it.
Decent Flavor & Size, 10 year Expiry
Initially bought this for emergency food supply but felt the need to open & check at least a few cans to see whether I can rely on this brand for long term food storage. Broke 1 can opener (cheap one) so must use a good quality one. After some sweats finally managed to open part of the can & poured the content into a bowl. Surprisingly the size was quite generous. I managed to fill 2 Mylar bags (quart size) , a 500-600ml mason jar and still have plenty of leftover. The banana chips are not as crispy as the freeze dried fruits. Upon checking, they are indeed dehydrated. But the taste is quite decent and not too sweet. I'd prefer if they were not coated in sugar but given its 10 year shelf life I still think it is worth to keep for emergency. Bought on discount at around SGD 20 each so it is quite good value for money. One thing to keep in mind is that the can is quite hard to open so it is better to remove the paper covering of the can beforehand, especially for items that do not have extra Mylar packaging (inside the can). Mine was shredded when I struggled to open the can and could accidentally mix with the content of the can. Overall I am quite happy with this purchase.
Buyer beware
Garbage can’t return, arrives dented and crushed. Not safe to eat in my opinion, as the seal is all battered and the can is dented massively.
Damaged
Large dent
