5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly great product, good price compared to brand competitors
So far so good. I started checking out other types of shampoo because i heard dandruff/ scalp moisturizing shampoos that use the active ingredient (pyrithione zinc (PTZ) and selenium sulfide) can lead to hair loss and damaged hair. Not sure how true that is or not but regardless I didn't want to take the risk. Anyways one of the alternatives I found was Tea Tree Oil which can cure dandruff, fix scars, discoloration, the works. Seems like some amazing stuff. From there I searched a shampoo based on this ingredient, this was cheaper than the name brand one i found by about 5 dollars so I figured I would give it a shot.On to the actual product. I am not easily swept into miracle cures, nor do I have a strong opinion of holistic vs modern. I just want a quality product that accomplishes what it is suppose to without downsides. Opening the product smells overwhelmingly like pine or some sort of foliage smell (i guess tea tree oil smell?) but it smells ok. I followed the instructions and let the product sit in my hair for a few minutes. Felt a little cooling. I got some of it on my forehead (my face is usually pretty sensitive) and I got kind of a burning/ cooling sensation there more than the rest of my scalp (kind of like putting vick vaporrub on - similar sensation). That had me kind of nervous but i didn't break into a rash or anything so I guess I wasn't allergic to anything. The end result was pretty surprising. My scalp and hair felt clean and cool and my hair was a bit more fluffy than usual. Not sure if I like that or not but definitely enjoy the scalp feel. No flakes, not dry feeling, pretty happy with the result so far. I have only used it for a short while so I will update my review if anything changes.
5.0 out of 5 stars Cleared up my scalp break outs in a week!
I bought this shampoo after reading a review that it helps with break outs. I’m in my late 50’s and have had a problem for years with my scalp breaking out with pimples. This causes me to pick at my skin and create more problems. Within four days of using the shampoo I noticed only one new pimple and the old ones were healing quickly. It’s now a week since I started using it, everything is just about healed and there’s no new ones! I’m very impressed! Now about the shampoo itself. I’m not a fan of the smell of tea tree oil but this is a light scent that’s actually quite soothing. The shampoo is gentle and lathers well. I’ve found a little goes a long way on my short hair. I let it sit on my scalp for a few minutes while I shower then rinse well. My hair feels very clean afterwards but it has static after I blow dry it. I rarely use conditioner because my hair is straight, fine, natural silver and goes limp from the extra weight. I’ve had to start using a different brand detangler since using this shampoo just to get rid of the static. I just ordered this company’s matching tea tree conditioner after reading good reviews so I’m looking forward to getting it. I want to add that up until I started using this product a week ago I used Paul Mitchell’s tea tree shampoo on the advice of my hairdresser. I saw no improvement whatsoever with my scalp break outs after using it daily for months. I did a search on Bolo for something new, read all the great reviews for this shampoo and I’m so glad I ordered it!
4.0 out of 5 stars Solved my Dandruff problem!
I've been having dandruff for months, I've tried other products but they haven't seemed to work for me. I finally decided to get a shampoo (and conditioner) based on tea tree extracts/oils.Here's a couple of pros and cons:Pros:- Anti Dandruff- Refreshing feeling on scalp- Cleans and moisturizes hair (use as directed)- Nice scent that lasts for hours.-Cons:- Hard to apply, it feels as if I'm always using a lot of the shampoo for my hair. It's not easy to spread and massage throughout your hair unless you apply the shampoo 2-3 times. Once enough is applied though, it is great and easy to massage throughout your hair. I've found it best to squeeze the bottle on the top of your head in a zig-zag pattern and then mix, massage and lather throughout. This ensured you get everything out of the shampoo and into your hair.- Bottle is not as big as I thought it'd be. There is NOTHING wrong with the product, I just may have set my expectations too high with the bottle size and I thought I'd mention it.Overall:Great results (at least for me), little problems. I'd definitely recommend for family and friends. When my current bottle finishes, I'd be sure to get this again!

The Best!
This is the best shampoo ever! I have tried so many anti dandruff shampoos, but none of them worked. This one is the only one that worked. Plus is sulfate free and contains no harsh chemicals. A bit pricey, but worth it! My hair loves it!
Excelente producto
Llego en buen estado y función muy bien
So so good for an itchy, dry scalp.
I have not been able to find anything that calms the itch and moisturises my scalp, without it being too heavy for my fine hair or making it look greasy. The scent is also very subtle and pleasant, which is a relief because I have sensory issues and smells can be very overwhelming. I'll be adding the conditioner to my routine next.
Helped with my itchy head
For a few lockdown weeks my head had been getting progressively itchier, was convinced my dog had fleas even though I couldn't see anything on him and he had been treated as it was only reason I could really explain for why my head was so itchy all the time and felt like it was getting heat lumps under it despite the fact I shampoo and condition daily. After some googling I came across a recommendation for this product and within 3 or 4 days use my scalp had totally calmed down and was feeling normal again.I now am back to using my normal shampoo and conditioner but throw in a shampoo with this product every couple of days. I'd like to use it full time as I love the tea tree smell but unfortunately I find it does leave my quite wiry hair dryer than when I use my normal Aussie shampoo.
