Honest Amish Beard Balm is created from the finest organic ingredients available. We start with a proprietary blend of hair strengthening botanical infused in a base of Virgin Argan, Avocado, Almond, Virgin Pumpkin Seed, and Apricot Kernel Oils. It is then masterfully crafted with fruit and nut butters (Shea, Aloe, Cocoa, Kokum, to name a few), and hair enhancing essential oils. Subtle scents of Cedarwood, Anise (licorice), and Clove. We recommend that people with nut allergies avoid this product or test a small amount before application. Honest Amish Beard Balm will help soften, condition, dry splitting hairs, and nourish new growth. Our balm is also very conditioning for your skin and will stop the itching caused by new growth and wild rogue hairs. However, to return it back to a smooth consistency it can be melted back down by placing the beard balm in a warm place (direct sun light, in car, heater vent, etc. Do not use open flames, microwaves, or stove tops) Once melted, secure the lid on your beard balm and shake it up, mixing up all the oils. Then allow to cool to room temperature or place in refrigerator for faster solidification. Beard Balm may liquefy in transit USE CAUTION WHEN OPENING. We use absolutely NO man made chemicals or preservatives and NO fake fragrances or colorants in any of our products. Packaged in a 100 percent recyclable tin. It explains most of your complaints in the 3% and 7% categories. </b>My review so far:*Consistency is exactly what is expected for balm.*Scent is great and have gotten a ton of feedback from peers and family. Smells great, bottom line.*Stops itching as noted as it gets to the root of your beard. Just make sure you put a little bit on your fingers then rub it around to make it clear, then apply throughout your beard and to the roots of your beard. Important.*I use a beard brush to manage my curly beard and is recommended as I saw complaints in the poor reviews about this. If you have stray hairs, train them with a beard brush and a blow dryer on medium heat, not HOT!Overall, this is a great beard balm! Natural, full of fine ingredients and made in USA. Not sure where the tin is made, but probably Chinese(I would like clarification on this). Looks to be aluminum tin but not sure.In then end for those that say it does not work, opinionated statement and based on your beard type. For those that say use "conditioner" same affect, well, a ton of store bought poorly made conditioners have all type of chemicals and manufactured oils that can dry your beard beyond belief. Conditioner chemicals comprise of Benzyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Alcohol, Propyl Alcohol and Ethanol. Parabens are also used with preservatives that can cause skin sensitivities, so watch out people! For those that say, it melts, changes color, etc., well, place/store in a cool area, do not expose to heat! Its' common sense people, stop giving poor reviews and if you do, you can return for a full refund.This is my first time buying this product and have no affiliation with the product, but when you state what you do in the reviews please educate yourself to substantiate your claims.Review closing comment:*Great product, smells absolutely nice, paste is great and works well in beard in my opinion and many others.Feel confident purchasing. Been growing out my mustache for a few months now, and I recently got to a point in growth where it needs to be maintained. I read dozens of reviews for several other balms, and I decided to go with Honest Amish because of the natural, easy to ready ingredients. I saw some negative reviews so I thought I’d address some of those concerns for potential customers:I saw a lot of complaints about the smell and I’m here to say that if you don’t appreciate the scent of this product, you probably have some growing up to do. It has a great, natural, clean, clove sort of scent that doesn’t last very long. It’s not masked with any fragrances that a high school boys locker room might be thick with.I also saw some photos of this product arriving in bad condition with coagulation and nasty beads. That must be a one-off sort of issue that I’m willing to bet happens from time to time because of the natural ingredients. I did not have this problem - but if I did, I like this product enough to return it and order another tin.The bottom line - this is good stuff. It tames my mustache nicely when combined with a quick comb-through. I actually use it a few times a day because I like the smell, and find that my mustache gets a little wild after I eat food, or kiss my wife. It’s soft, and easy to apply.I recommend applying to completely dry facial hair. If you are fresh out of a shower, the water will break down the product and you won’t benefit from the true intent of the balm. It also doubles as a lip balm, if you can believe it. I live in Denver (very dry and cold this time of year) and since I’ve started putting this in my stache, I haven’t suffered from chapped lips. If you’ve got a beard or a mustache in need of a quality balm, look no further.

I was extremely skeptical about dropping $15 on a beard product, however, after using this balm for 2+ weeks, I am happy I did! I have a sensitive nose and tend to get migraines with high-fragrance anything. That was my main concern. But this scent is great! It's light on the nose, doesn't linger for hours, and is actually quite pleasant. My wife really enjoys the smell as well!I bought it for two main purposes: To tame the rogue hairs, and help soften my beard. In 2 weeks, I can truthfully say this stuff works well. I have curly beard hair, which creates a mess of crazy hairs! This balm allows me to tame my beard and keep the hairs running in one direction. Keep in mind it's not a miracle worker; it won't make curly hair straight! However it has enough strength to keep them from sticking up and out! It also does a good job "softening" your beard. Beard hair is very coarse. Prior to this, I had the dreaded "beardruff" going. It hurt to scrub my beard with shampoo as I tried to cure that problem. But after 2 weeks of this balm, my hair is much softer to the touch. Again, don't be dumb; it's not a miracle worker. Your hair is still going to be coarse! But it absolutely moisturizes and keeps the hair looking and feeling healthy! My beard doesn't hurt to rub anymore. And the beardruff is no longer there. The balm gives a nice sheen/shine to your beard also, which makes it look healthier to the naked eye.Why 4 stars? I so badly wanted to give this a 5-star rating and if I was single, I could! However, while the balm works wonders for me, it has negatively affected my wife. After kissing her with this balm in my mustache, she breaks out around her lips. We tried the process of elimination to determine the cause and sure enough, it's the balm. I saw some other negative reviews about people having an allergic reaction to this. It seems my wife is one of those.I now have a tough choice ahead of me: To balm or not to balm? Balm and feel good/look good but no kissing? Or no balm while looking like a homeless beard but kissing (or is that counter-productive...will she want to kiss me if I have the whole homeless beard thing going)?? Oh decisions, decisions......

The product's texture is damaged and doesn’t look as it should, which is disappointing because I really loved everything else about it—the scent, the packaging. I wish it wasn't the case.
