5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect and versatile for temporary or permanent use.
Purchased to mount 2 monitors on for my work from home setup. I mounted ultrathin 16in monitors that weigh barely anything, but this has a weight rating of 20lbs. It is very sturdy construction, very easy to put together once you separate the screws out by size. I have the flat plate clamping it to the edge of my table, it comes with clipon plastic cord keepers which are super helpful. Freed up my desk space, I have 1 monitor in landscape and 1 in portrait, all the movements of the mount and the arms is great, I can easily adjust my monitors just the way I need. If adjusting it is too hard or stiff, use the allen wrench to very slightly loosen the screws in the joint that needs adjusting, voila.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Mount, great price. Extremely sturdy. Would buy again.
VIVO Dual LCD LED Monitor Desk Mount Stand There is a reason this has a #1 Best Seller flag on it. Its extremely good for what you are paying for it. I wanted to get my desk cleared off and was seriously thinking about getting a second monitor to use. I came across this on Bolo and decided to give it a try. I had read through a lot of the reviews. Most of them were good to excellent and some were not. I was hoping my experience was going to be better than some of theirs. The first thing I noticed when i received this mount was just how heavy the boxes containing it were. I was expecting some heft. I mean this has to support two monitor up to 27 inches each, but it was heavier than I was anticipating. I found most of the parts inside wrapped in plastic and in good condition. I followed the instructions and did not have any problem assembling this item. You attach the clamp to the post first, then mount that part on your desk where you want it. The clamp seems plenty strong enough to hold it. Just make sure your desk is strong enough. I have a all steel tanker desk so it was not problem for me. If you have a thin top you might want to think about placing a piece of wood under the desk in the clamp to help distribute the weight of the monitors. I would not mount this too glass at all. That might be a common sense thing, but just a warning. After mounting the clamp/pole to the desk, you will want to place the vesa mounts on the monitors. This kit came with handy thumbscrews just for this, and they worked great. I did not need any special adapters for my monitors, both were 100x100 vesa mount compatible and the plates fit it perfectly. The mounts attached to the monitors will slide onto the plate on the post. This also worked great for me. No issue. Once you get the monitors on the arms, there is a tiny screw cap for the back to make sure the monitors stay on the arms. I will not be rotating my so this isn't an issue, but I put them there anyways. The post does have height adjustment, do not do this with the monitors on the arms. Take them off then adjust the post. Put them back on and repeat as necessary until where you want them. I saw some reviewers talking about how they could not keep the monitors level. I am going to guess that they have faulty kits. I have no problem here. The joint that allows the monitor to rotate seem nice and tight, but also easily movable if I wanted them too. The tilt of the monitor can be adjust up or down and then tighten with the included allen wrench. I am sporting a 24 inch monitor on the left and a 27 inch monitor on the right with absolutely no physical problems. The multiple points of articulation in the arms made moving my monitors around a breeze. They stay where I put them too. There are hooks for cable management which do help a lot in keeping a clean look. I could only use some of it because of a short power cord and dvi cable. You can see from the photos that the post is leaning forward ever so slightly. It does not seem to be going any further and it is extremely stable. One thing I can highly recommend is an Aukey LED gooseneck clamp light. It will clamp right to one of the arms and reaches over the monitors. It provides good light and runs off USB power. It looks like it belongs with the mount. I could not be happier with how that turned out. I am completely satisfied with this mount. I love it. I recommend it to anybody who needs to get their monitors off the desk and more at eye level.AUKEY LED Desk Lamp, Clip-on Table Lamp with Flexible Neck, USB Powered with 2 Brightness Adjustment for reading
4.0 out of 5 stars Simple, Budget Alternative
It is a budget alternative, and it is simple. It is great for simply holding the monitors side-by-side. It was relatively easy, and simple to put together; however, the actual adjusting, and moving of the arms to setup the monitors correctly takes some force. The actual items, that is the pole, and arms do feel sturdy, and I feel that it is cheap, but I cannot tell you it feels expensive either. I would say the materials feel in-between. It does the job, that’s all it will do, and would not bank on using these forever, as the ability to adjust the monitors on the fly is non-existent. I feel it is a great budget-friendly option, especially if you need a few months to save the extra cash for a more versatile monitor arm!
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy!
This monitor mount is awesome, easily adjustable and easy to install! This thing is quality! Highly recommend!
5.0 out of 5 stars Clean and compact dual monitor mount
Probably about as good as you can get for this kind of design:- Components feel heavy and high quality- Once mounted tightly, there is very little movement even with two large monitors- Easy to assemble with clear instructions and properly labeled parts- Very low profile design – results in a clean look, and if you get the right size, you can keep your desk very close to the wallMy only criticism is there seems to be a little bit of rotational play coming from where the VESA adapter mates to the arms. It's not loose enough that the screens wobble under normal use, but when I am changing their position it is easy to inadvertently rotate them slightly to the left or right, making it a bit finicky to make them level. Such a minor thing that I won't even deduct a star for it, but perhaps something VIVO could tighten up in future revisions.A few other considerations:1. Think about the size of your monitors and how you would like them positioned before you choose which size mount to buy. I started with the 30", which technically fit my monitors (one ultrawide and one standard widescreen), but they were so close together I could not angle them at all towards me. So I swapped it out for the 32", which was just the right width. The 38" would have worked as well, but to position the monitors right next to each other I would either have needed to pull them way too close to my face, or move my desk away from the wall to give the arms room to bend.2. If you don't have two matching monitors, look at position of their VESA mounting points before purchasing. With an articulating gas spring style mount, you can freely line up your monitors even if they aren't the same model. With this mount, you cannot adjust the vertical positioning of each monitor independently. (Well you can, but only by about 1/2" or so.) I have two monitors from the same brand and measuring the same height, but they are technically different models, and was surprised that their VESA mounting points were about 1" vertically off. So once I got everything mounted, the monitors did not line up. Luckily, VIVO sells an add-on that allows you to correct for this (search for VIVO Height Adjustable VESA Adapter).
Strong, easy to set up, holds monitors in place without having to adjust anything!
I was pleasantly surprised how easy this was to mount the monitors, and attach to the desk. Once I had the monitors adjusted to the position I wanted, even after sliding the desk to the other side of the room, they stayed perfectly in place. Love the cable hooks that came with it - keeps it much tidier. The black matches the monitor frames, and desk frames too...lol...was a bit concerned about mounting this, as my new desk monitor shelf, and desktop is very thin. So I got a VIVO mounting plate first, and it fits so well, and distributes the weight across the shelf and is sturdy as can be! Very happy with these purchases.
Muy buen producto
Cumple con la funciones, muy completo y resistente para 2 pantallas de 27 pulagas
Perfect for 1 monitor if you’d want it forward.
This isn’t on them as it’s advertised with two monitors at the back of the desk. However if you’d want your monitors close as I have it above you cannot fit two monitors together without issues due to lack of room, other than that, it’s sturdy, easy to setup and adjusted easily.
