5.0 out of 5 stars YES!! FINALLY!!
HOORAY for Tranquility! I talked to the company personally. First, I like that they are a mom and pop company here in the United States with American employees. I also like that the quality of their product is far superior to any out there and I've tried so many. One from Denmark as well (I believe) and none have the same quality as Tranquility. We've had an incontinence issue with a loved one for a few years now with the bed getting wet and pajamas too, naturally, for about 3 years. I've been trying to solve this issue for three years. Off and on. Thinking I found a solution and feeling defeated and giving up.Here's the difference I see as all too important with Tranquility. The waist band is made better. It has more substance, more material than any other adult pull up. My loved one is mobile and so does not wear diapers. He's also a pretty big guy and getting a diaper on him would mean having a hoist in his room. So, no diapers. With this particular pull up and the Tranquility moisture barrier shields and a booster pad, we have found success.Don't think I didn't try the moisture barrier shield with a regular pull up. It didn't work. Fail!!The price justifies the quality of the product. They are worth every penny. I said I would gladly pay $2 - $3 for a pull up to keep me from doing laundry every day and keeping my loved one from wearing wet pajamas. If you have been searching and have not tried these because of the price, do the math. What would these cost you per day in actual use. Would you save money and time in the long run from not doing laundry? Changing clothes and bedding? It could very well be an economically sound choice.
5.0 out of 5 stars Finally! A product that does what it says it does.
I have used many incontinent pads and they are helpful but limited. This one does not fall in that category. It is absorbent like it promises and is a longer length which works great. My search is over. This is the one for me.
5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely impressive!
I am very impressed with these pads. Upon purchasing them, I had only read the fact that they were overnight pads. That being said, I had assumed they would be rated at "heavy" for absorbency. When I received them, I noticed the package said "moderate" for the absorbency level. At first I was kind of thinking they would not work very well. However, they work incredibly well. A fairly heavy wetting whilst laying on my back or side produced no leakage at all! I have even wet multiple times in one and they do bulge to about twice their normal size as a result of that, they still have managed to hold a fair bit more than I had anticipated. I have also used these as liners in my nighttime diapers to help prevent leakage and they work fantastically for that as well! I think really the only downside to these is that most pads are individually wrapped with a plastic wrapper around them which most people use to aid in the discard of the pad (namely to prevent the sticky strip on them from sticking to a trash bag when throwing it away). These pads do not have those. These pads are individually in the bag with no plastic wrappers on them, only the piece of paper over the sticky side to prevent them sticking to one another or the inside of the package. For the price and the quantity, though, I won't complain about such a minor detail, they are still freaking impressive regardless.
4.0 out of 5 stars Was the best!
My previous orders were comfortable and held a lot of liquid. These pads have undergone a change and I don't like the new ones. The new ones are shorter and thinner. The ones I was getting before had a lot more coverage and thicker. Because the new ones have less coverage you now have to be careful where you place them and hope you have them in the right area. I can't comment about how much liquid the new ones hold as that part hasn't been an issue with me.
5.0 out of 5 stars Absorbency Good
Can not buy more as vendor does not have any in stock for months.
5.0 out of 5 stars To expensive
Great product but the price keeps going up not understanding why !
1.0 out of 5 stars Changed but not for the better
I used to really love these pads. They changed them. I looked everywhere and it said so on the package. They are too short now and very uncomfortable
5.0 out of 5 stars Way better than all other compressed pads
Compressed pads take too long to absorb - urine runs right off. Tranquility's softness instantly absorbs and is more comfortable to wear.
