Okay, so I've only had these one day but they are great! I bought them to replace 2 sets of similar SPD pedals from a budget brand sold here (the brand starts with a V and I tried the pedals twice but returned because the issues were unacceptable). What a night and day difference! No chirps, no squeaks, no movement besides the advertised 4 degrees side to side, no oiling or greasing before each ride. Millions times better and only $4 more at the time of purchase. Even at twice the cost, these Shimano pedals would be well worth it. I've put about 35 miles on these Shimano pedals and cleats with zero issues while the other brand had issues instantly and squeaked embarrassingly bad after my first 30 mile ride.I was a little nervous about the international shipping from the UK to here on the East coast USA, but they got here far quicker than predicted by Bolo (by 8 days).Very impressed.

Got these last week, once I got my other pedals off, these literally took maybe 5 minutes to put on my Fuji Sportif road bike. Rode 15 miles on Zwift promptly after installing them to get the clips and tension of the pedals adjusted to my liking. Its cool, they click incrementally so you can adjust each side of each pedal equally without thinking too hard, took maybe another 5 minutes with my multitool to set both pedals. I promptly did a metric century on a local trail here in Atlanta a few days after and literally had not one issue- they were easy to click out but stayed right in place throughout the whole ride.Strongly recommend these. Great price for solid clipless pedals.

My first clipless pedals. Easy to install. Easy to adjust. Start with them on the loosest setting to get used to clipping in and out. After a few uses, they are quite easy. Added power to the pedaling stroke.

I like SPDs because I like to be able to walk around a restaurant mid-ride without sounding like I'm wearing tap shoes and without worrying about slipping around. Some places don't like cyclists clomping around their expensive wooden floors. I've never had that problem. These are the best value SPD pedals I have found. They're cheap because they're a bit heavy, not because they skimp on quality.Clipping in and out is never a problem. The last ones lasted about 50,000 miles. I had to replace them because the bearings started to get slack. If you like bicycle touring or club rides, and you're not a racer, these are a good option for you.

Shimano steht neben der immer besten Funktion vor allem für Langlebigkeit.Für Jahrzehnte intensiver Nutzung von Shimanoprodukten bestätige ist das gerne.An einem meiner Mountainbikes , Kona Explosiv, arbeitet seit gut 30 Jahren eine XT-Schaltbremsgruppe, noch mit den geliebten Daumenschalthebeln ( die sollte man wieder anbieten !!! ), tadellos.Das Pedal 520 mit dem robusten SPD System reiht sich da ein.Montieren, einmal den persönlich gewünschten Auslösegrad einstellen, und dann quasi vergessen und fahren fahren fahren…..Nässe, Schnee, Dreck…unbeeindruckt macht das Pedal seinen Job!Nur bei heftigster Verschmutzung und dann auch nur wenn der Dreck hart wird kann man mal über eine Reinigung nachdenken. Und dann gönne ich auch mal ein paar Tropfen Öl oder WD40 oder Ähnliches dem Pedal.Selten kann man ein Produkt so empfehlen!!!! Top!!!!Und der Preis dafür…..????….eigentlich zu billig!!!!
Shimano originali, una certezza
Pedali spd oramai stra conosciuti. Funzionano perfettamente, buono anche il prezzo considerando che nella confezione sono presenti un paio di tacchette comprensive di viteria. Inoltre a questi pedali é possibile fare manutenzione senza perdere sfere microscopiche in quanto sono presenti i cuscinetti.

By far the best entry-level SPD pedals ever
Shimano have been making these for many years and I have them on all my (N+1) bikes, including a full carbon road bike, hybrid computing workhorse, small-wheel folder and Dawes Galaxy tourer. No exceptions. They work reliably well and have bearings that seem to go on forever (caveat: I don't ride much off-road). They're very easy to setup and adjust and very forgiving for beginners (I was one once and never came off because I couldn't unclip in time). Given the entry-level price I find these to be well engineered and great value for money. As long as Shimano keep making them I don't see myself riding anything else.
