I have a full size copy of battleship at home, but bought this version so I could bring a smaller, cheaper copy with me on an upcoming, long work trip and be able to play with my 6 year old son over the phone/video calls. Worked perfectly well for that: the boards are compact and durable so it crams well into bags and I thought the $5 worth it.As others have mentioned, the pegs are small and difficult to work with and the game is not really suited for playing while in transit. But I'm a 71" tall, 210 lb male and manage fine playing in the hotel room.

We have brought this set on every vacation by car and plane and it's been so much fun. It's the perfect size and I love that the 2 sides connect for transport. We love this game and taking it on the go has been fun for everyone.

If you want to enjoy this little gem from your childhood, know what you’re in for. It’s great fun and perfect for a week in our cabin. It’s meant for traveling in that it’s a game in miniature, lightweight, easy to pack. It’s NOT meant for play DURING travel. Pros: so cute!! Easy to open setup and get going. Not too many parts to keep track Of. Lots of extra pegs in case you lose some down the cushions. Cons: even my tiny fingers can’t keep hold of these slipper nimble teensy widdle wee pegs. My greatest muscle memory is pushing the peg into its hole, and these don’t go all the way in. (Yes, that’s what she said). Nonetheless it’s a blast. I setup and taught my wife how to play in less than 5. Adjust your expectations.(I do NOT recommend this game for small children. Teeny pieces to swallow and lose.)

While it does work and is very travel friendly, it's just a bit too small. It makes it slightly difficult to pick up the pegs and put them in the holes. Removing the pegs from the board/ships is also slightly challenging. I suppose with smaller kids, it might work just fine, but teenager and up it's a bit difficult to play.

I love this little game. Adorable little version of Battleship. The only issue I have is that the pegs sometimes have a hard time staying in some of the spots, but for what I paid, I’m not complaining. I’m not sure how it will work out in the car, but if you have it sitting on a tray of some kind, I think it would be fine. I like it to take on trips for the evenings while at the hotel. Definitely recommend

very hard and nearly impossible to read the numbers and letters that are the same color as the background. Which is such a necessary part of the game. Pegs are tiny tiny tiny! Bigger is better in this case! But that's just my opinion and experience.
Diversión de bolsillo
El clásico juego de mesa en su versión portátil. Práctico, sencillo de transportar y de almacenar. Tiene piezas pequeñas, no es recomendable dejarlo a la mano de niños muy chiquitos. Es una buena compra para llevarlo de vacaciones en familia o en pareja.
It is great to have..but
To be clear there is nothing wrong with the product, it arrived on time, as advertised, the only down side is that is really hard to play and enjoy. Pegs that are needed for positioning ships and used hits are really small and you need to pay good care not to spill them on the floor.also if you have bit bigger fingers it will be hard to use them that often. The markings on the plastic are not colored, just same color/material as covers so on black one they are hard to read in low light.
