5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to work with, good color match for "golden oak" or similar.
I was called to repair- replace vinyl strip flooring on concrete substrate - basement floor.Tile was not fully acclimated before install. End match gaps opened up. Applied "Roberts" and the problem literally disappeared. relatively quick cure time and easy cleanup. Great product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy repair for damaged flooring
My brother-in-law apparently doesn't know how to open a sofa bed. He managed to create two inch long deep scratches in the laminate flooring where the couch is located. After doing some research I decided to try the Roberts putty for the repair. I forced the putty in with a putty knife and then cleaned up the excess that had spread around the damaged areas. Let it dry and the used a nylon scrubber to go over the entire areas. Worked great. Unless you knew that the area had been damaged, you'd never see it. Color matched my flooring near perfectly. Recommended for an easy repair.
4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to sand
Works fine and dandy
5.0 out of 5 stars I've been looking for something like this for years!
I've tried wood fillers, wood patch, etc. and most were too dry, too difficult to work with, and didn't leave a clean surface without sanding later. It spreads on like a silicon caulk, and dries to a hard surface like a wood filler. It is easy to sand but I didn't need to since it applied so easily. I just used my fingers to shape it and a damp paper towel for my fingers and to wipe of any excess. It's hard to get something that matches red oak exactly, and this (tan) color is perfect for that.
1.0 out of 5 stars Must have been old stock
Bought the Tan and Brown to blend to my floors color. After kneading the tubes and cutting the spout tips, I was unable to squeeze anything out of the tube without removing the tip. I have worked with caulking and sealants for years. The product in these tubes appeared old, or frozen in shipment to Alaska, as it was difficult to work with, did not adhere into the cracks and dried almost immediately.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good putty
Dries hard and seems durable.
3.0 out of 5 stars Cracked
This was easy to use and worked well, but it didn't last long before it cracked. Perhaps it would work better in a low-traffic area. I will probably order again to go back over the area to improve the appearance of the cracked putty.
5.0 out of 5 stars Mixer
I mixed this with a darker color to match my vinyl wood sheets. It did a great job and looks like I had done a better job at flooring in the first place!
