Update 3/20/21: It's been a few months and no problems. Works just like the day I got it.--Update: Nice! I got some really quick answers, including from the seller, about the one thing that I was unsure about. Short version-- the turntable itself will be a little loose when all set up; this is normal/ideal. I'm really pleased with this unit and the fast response I got. Thanks much!I got this along with the three-year warranty, since reviews are indicating this product is fragile/prone to some issues. I only had one issue, which I'll detail toward the end of this review. I've asked a question relevant to that point, and will update my review to reflect what I hear back.So first of all, the unit I received appeared intact/undamaged from what I can tell and looking at the packaging. The whole thing is wrapped in plastic and ships in a box that says what it is on the outside. It comes with RCA cables. The instruction manual says it ALSO includes a 3mm aux out cable, but I didn't see that inside-- just the RCA cables. I don't see anything else that confirms that the cable should be in there, so, I'm guessing it's just a mistake with the manual print rather than a missing item.It probably doesn't need saying, but just in case, the lid does not open fully, but if you push the joint forward (toward you), it will lock open in place. You can close the lid without problems. It is open in the back to allow more space for records, so keep that in mind.I checked the FM, phono (vinyl), CD, and bluetooth functions. All of these worked perfectly. Note that the turntable will not spin until and unless you move the needle arm over to the record. Also don't throw out the needle protector! The instructions mention to keep these, but if I hadn't read it and hadn't been thinking, I would've tossed it.The CD has some limited programmability-- basically you can choose what order to play tracks in, on a disc. Nothing else really to mention on that function. The bluetooth worked perfect. I've had some devices be annoying and finicky whether they want to be recognized, and this wasn't one of them.Sound quality is all right-- if you're looking for something super loud with heavy bass, you'll want to plug in other speakers. I can't stand the "blow the dust off the speakers!" appeal, so this is fine for me. It does sound better when the unit is at least 8-10 feet away, sounds more balanced. For its size and for being an all-in-one, this is both acceptable and perfectly decent, no complaints. I'm used to listening from a pair of computer speakers when I don't have headphones on, so this is fine.My one issue-- (Reminder: Got an answer and this is fine apparently!)The turntable comes with a screw which is unscrewed to help keep the unit safe during transportation. The instructions say to TIGHTEN this screw before playing. I've seen some reviewers who I am guessing are confused, since they've loosened it instead. I was able to tighten this screw pretty easily, but the issue I have is that the turntable itself is not REALLY secure from doing this. You can still move it maybe 8mm/a third of an inch or so, just... around. This includes the turntable AND the arm, which I would expect to be, you know, screwed and fixed in place, immobile. It is not either of these things-- and it moves if I need to adjust the speed or anything like that. Now, when the record's playing, it seems totally fine, and it does play the records fine, but I was taken aback by this. I'm waiting on an answer to find out how problematic this is. For now, it seems to be working fine, but it definitely gives me pause, so to speak. So, that aside, I haven't had any OTHER problems, and I'm happy with it. If it turns out that's just normal, I can't say it seems like a sensible part of the design to me, but as long as it works, that's fine. Overall this is a very attractive, pleasant-sounding, versatile player. We'll see if it lasts-- I'll update this review periodically to reflect any problems that arise, or lack thereof.

Whether I paid $110 or $160, I can't remember, but at either price, it's worth it. It looks very nice, and turns out to be sturdy when the top is closed--my dog is now 62lbs and stood on top of it, no breakage. Not that I recommend that, but if it happens to happen, probably be alright. The vinyl sounds great, in fact maybe a little too great; I like the slight crackle that some older players cause, but this player plays it neat and crisp. The speakers are decent for the price range, and the volume adjustment is sensitive but not too sensitive. It is easy to set up, and easy to operate. Be SURE to read the setup instructions in regards to the record player+needle operation itself, there are a couple (easy) things you need to know that might not be common sense. It plays CDs just fine and the am/fm radio. The Bluetooth was easy to set up, took about 10 seconds to pair with my phone (samsung galaxy). Minor grumble is that the volume is then controlled by my phone which thinks turning the volume further is going to blow out my eardrums, and the volume max is therefore quite limited. If it ran through the Victrola, it would sound better and could be louder. Also, I do wish I had ordered the player with the remote. Maybe I can order one separately. Otherwise, I am really pleased with the purchase. Ah but the vinyl sounds so good, especially considering the price point. Happy listening!

Works great. Decent sound for what it is and allows you to play most any media. One note, does not seemto like CD copies. Good quality.

Sounds good. Compact and suits our old style music room. Not extremely loud but loud enough to fill a good size room. Sounds like I stepped into my childhood. I would recommend this product. Good price point.

The media could not be loaded. I love the retro look. The cabinet seems fairly sturdy. Some folks say the record player skips but I haven't had this problem. I suspect it's because they didn't tighten the screw next to the turntable which is left loose to preserve the unit during shipping. The speakers are not very powerful but that suits me just fine. I'll likely upgrade the needle in a while but it'll do for now. Bluetooth works as expected. I had no problem connecting it to my phone. I haven't tried out the CD player or cassette deck yet as I own barely any CDs and precisely zero cassettes. The FM tuner worked without even unraveling the antenna. Overall, I love the thing. I hope it lasts a long time, but that is yet to be seen. I purchased a warranty just to be safe. I've been listening to my old big band/swing records on it. It's so satisfying just to hear that unmistakable vinyl sound.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Victrola at $99 rocks better than a $500 Sony.

This Victrola has a great tuner for the FM Radio. We can get dozens of channels all very strong and sound is great with the built in the speakers. I think this is a keeper and it has a nice cabinet. It is hard to believe the sound and functions this unit has for the price.

I gave this to my husband for Christmas to replace an old Crossley machine that stopped working. This player sounds so much better than the Crossley; I will try using speakers to enhance the sound even more. Truly impressive sound for the price! Only downside is that is does not record like his old Crossley.

    Me encantó

La primera sorpresa fue que su enchufe es americano, con lo cual no pude probarlo hasta que conseguí un adaptador. Tuve que comprar tres adaptadores hasta que deduje que lo que no funcionaba era el equipo.

    Great Buy, Worth Every Penny

I have been wanting a record player for years when I finally stumbled upon this product. I spent lots of time doing research and searching for a record player only to find this beauty. I love the richness the colour of the player has, the pureness of the audio and ease of use. First off, the size of the record player is slightly bigger than what I imagined, but it isn't too heavy nor does it look bulky. And it looks just like its presented only better. As for the price, it is well worth it if you delight in spending your days and evenings listening or singing along to your favourite music. While also considering the various features such as Bluetooth, a CD player, turntable, cassette and radio this is a well-made record player that is sure to excite. The only problem I have had with this is when I'm using Bluetooth-it will sometimes have a crackly noise and cut out a bit of the audio for a brief moment. Which typically occurs when my phone is further from the player. My vinyl records haven't been damaged since I've used this machine, and the radio and CD player works seamlessly. Other than this, the audio effortlessly goes from pianissimo to fortissimo. If you're on the edge between this and other record players, I would recommend this one instead.
