For about 1/4 the price of Band Aid brand 2x2, gauze, this is very thin and falls apart. Cant use ot for applying ointment, falls apart with vaseline, too rough and thin and porous for any wound coverage. It isnt worth returning an open package for a few dollars I discarded the remainder of the pack.

MADE IN CHINA There are 2 in the bag that is seal. They are thin so they are good for a covering stitches but will not absorbe much fluid.Product description stated quote Covidien is the only US-based gauze manufacturer, and has been making gauze for more than 100 years. I used these for dressing changes for a family member recently home from the hospital. I was happy to be able to order these here at Bolo and have them show up quickly at my door, so they were here before the meager hospital supplies ran out. These 2-inch gauze sponges arrived sterilely packed, tear open easily, fit perfectly over small sutured wounds, don’t stick to intact skin, and they breathe well. In our case, I used a little dab of antibiotic ointment, placed the sponge, and sealed it with a Tegaderm adhesive dressing (that I also obtained here on Bolo). At our follow-up visit, the doctor couldn’t have been happier with the neatness and integrity of these dressings. It kept the wounds clean and healthy and allowed for rapid healing. I was also pleased with the price. This box was more than I needed, inexpensive, less than at my local drugstore and arrived right to my front door. If I need them again, I will definitely order again.

Curity Gauze Sponge-worse than Dollar Store Cheese Cloth
Advertised online as 100 pieces which I assumed were 100 individually packaged sterile gauze pads. Instead, was sent one box of 50 packages with very flimsy, cheesy, rough 2 x 2 pads. I opened one package and there were two flimsy gauze pieces, rough to the touch, extremely loosely knit fibers. I cannot possibly imagine of what use these could be for a wound. 1 pad would simply not absorb any blood or discharge of a wound. I will be sending them back.
