The pad is well constructed and has four separate pouches of padding; on each side of the withers and on the sides of the back (seat of saddle area). Fillers can be removed or added for perfect fit. Pad can be machine washed. I LOVE it!

So happy to have found a reasonably priced shim-able half-pad that fits under my 18.5" dressage saddle with room to spare. Super quality, I've always loved ECP's products and am happy to have found this. The navy is a gorgeous shade of blue, and the shims are perfect for when I have slight saddle fit issues due to the changes in my horse's back as training progresses. Would recommend to anyone who can't justify spending $200+ on a pad, but wants all the quality, durability, and adjust-ability.

Worked perfectly to correct English saddle fit on my high withered Mustang. The pads are a dense memory foam and there are several of each for a truly custom fit. I lucked out on the first try and it worked like a charm. I have recommended this pad to others at the stable where we board. Super nice quality, especially for the price! I bought the half pad to use under both my English and Western saddles but haven't tried it under the Western yet. I'm sure it will work just as well. Love it so much I'm going to buy the full pad for under the English!

The topline is thinner and not padded and the back cushion doesn't sit right under my saddle. May just be my saddle, and it does fine with a little adjusting though.

I love this pad. My saddle needs padding in the cantle & this helps. Also this pony has a more built up right shoulder so taking pads out on the right shoulder for better balance while I build up her left shoulder is great—don’t have to have saddle reflocked while her left shoulder gains muscle.

I took a risk and got this pad from Bolo. I normally wouldn’t get stuff for horses without seeing it in person it because my horse is very specific about the gear he needs. But I am delighted that I took the risk! This pad is well worth its money! My saddle stayed level and gave so much clearance to my horses withers. It worked perfectly with my western saddle. I am so happy with this pad.

I purchased this to help with a western saddle fit issue. I should have went with the thinner less bulky yet more pricey one. I’m sure this would work well for an English saddle as that’s what it’s made for but not good for what I needed. Also the removable pads are very cheap made and tear easy

This parcel was never received, but we have a new delivery company so it happensBut a friend has this one and it came with a bunch of shims, though the shims are a poor quality plastic foam like the material that those packing peanuts are made of but you could use the included shims to cut your own foam pads or felt.Nice and slim without the shims so great as a riser
Great for the price
Great quality fabric that lasts forever! This is my second Equine Comfort Products half pad. The foam inserts are okay, but don't offer much support. I ended up purchasing foam and cut to fit this half pad. Still much cheaper than buying any other correction pad.
Exactly what I needed
This pad is excellent. Not just excellent for the money, but excellent period. I thought I’d try this cheap one before buying Acavello or Thinline. It’s working perfectly, and the look is subtle if you’re in the hunter jumper word.
Durable and correct
Produce came looking exactly like the way more expensive one my saddle fitter showed me. Sponges are firm and don't break easily- I am very pleased with this product
Don't buy this
Unless you have a mini pony ... don't buy this item. It is tiny!!! I will be returning it as the straps to hold it in my place won't get near my mares chest & there is no way it will provide enough coverage for any kind of relief for my horse. Brutal. Very disappointing as it was expensive.
