I use this in tea, to make jello, or jams. It’s good to have on hand, but you need to mix it well or it will clump (like most gelatins). Doesn’t seem to have a flavor. I’ve tried other gelatins, but I usually prefer this one for texture, consistency, “taste”, mixability, and cost. This one hits somewhere in the middle on all the above. There are some cheaper alternatives that seem to be “less thick”. The more expensive ones don’t blend as well and seem to have a bit of flavor. So I stick with this one.

I consumed the entire 16 oz of powder over the summer, and into the autumn season my nails have been growing so well. It is now December and they're still growing so well.Vital Proteins was acquired by Nestle about 3 years ago. I will be switching brands after this I finish the bottle of this gelatin.Tip- I must also add that nailtiques formula 2 polish also really helps protect the nails as they grow out! Gelatin makes my nails grow and nailtiques polish fortifies my growth.

Just a little too expensive for what your getting. Other brands exist that sell larger quantities at the same quality. But when they aren't available this is definitely my go to.

I truly cannot believe the difference this gelatin has made in my skin. Was experiencing laxity & lack in plumpness & elasticity. I tried so many different collagen powders - didn’t notice any difference in my skin at all. It wasn’t until I switched to gelatin I noticed the changes. I just make my own version of “Jell-O” with it by dissolving the gelatin powder in a little cold, pure, & unsweetened fruit juice (I either juice myself, or if in a pinch, buy unsweetened in jar). When the gelatin hits the cold liquid, whisk vigorously to avoid lumps, as these will stay as hard lumps after cooled in the refrigerator. If you do see lumps that remain, just run the mixture through a blender —- I just use a stick/immersion blender to smooth it all out if I see lumps. Then, I heat more fruit juice until it’s really warm, but not hot — turn off the heat and dissolve the bloomed gelatin mixture into it. Refrigerate for a few hours, and it’s ready & oh so yummy. Then, I pour into whatever container I have around. I don’t use candy or gummy molds - I just cut it into squares. Be sure to eat it within 4-5 days. I have the equivalent of about 1/4 cup or 1/3 cup of the gelatin fruit squares each day. The skin on my face is slightly plumper, and I noticed a difference in the skin texture and tautness of my arms & thighs. It also helped plump & fill in minor wrinkle between my eyebrows & the nasolabial folds. I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT!!! But, you have to keep up with it. The skin laxity returns if you don’t consume the gelatin for a few weeks. It’s so versatile, too - you can use it as you would any other unflavored gelatin in recipes, such as panna cotta. But, I use it most w fresh pressed or squeezed fruit juices. You could even make your favorite smoothies into gelatin squares or gummies. It’s fantastic !!!

I started supplementing with this after being hospitalized for a compression fracture due to a tumor in my spine. I had to do radiation and it was uncertain if I would make it out alright due to some initial signs of paralysis. They were concerned about the bones not appropriately healing as the tumor shrank during radiation because my whole spine could collapse. (Yes. Frightening.) I started using this collagen immediately (ordered it two-day shipping while in the hospital). I blended it in my coffee creamer which is just coconut cream. I added it to smoothies. I mix it in my oatmeal. I made sure I got two to four scoops daily as soon as I got home from the hospital. I had no one at home to help me as I was recuperating from the fractured back; and I went back to work the morning after getting out of the hospital. I got a crummy back brace because I have state insurance, that I could hardly stand wearing. I drive stick shift too! I used no supportive devices for walking (not even offered to me probably because of my state insurance). I have not had scans to prove any thing yet, but I was back to pretty much normal within a month or two and my severe back pain significantly decreased quickly. I got off pain meds in about a week post-hospital. I believe using this collagen helped save me from my spine collapsing and has been healing my bones (I have tumors all over my bones, but the one at T-12 was very large and pressing into my spine causing paralysis). I met another woman who was hospitalized for the same thing and she is still walking with a cane seven months later and always wears a back brace. She does not use this collagen. I better tell her about this stuff. I've been hiking, riding my bicycle, light weight-lifting, working full-time, and just all around very active within just a couple months of being nearly paralzyed because of my broken back. If you have issues with your bones, please use this. It has also helped build my fingernails stronger and my complexion got smoother/clearer (I like feeling my face...I'm not weird...it just feels so soft now and I'm still amazed at that). Thank You, Lord.

I've bought this product in Nov 2021, bcos my friend recommended it as my hair started to be thinner and start to fall down due to menopause ..... and now 4 months later (March 2022) I can REALLY see some improvement - I have a lot of "baby hair" growing, and also my nails are much stronger than before !!!I'm using this powder literally every day in my coffee (which I drink 2-3 times daily!) : half teaspoon of powder dissolved with 2-3 teaspoons of water in a cup (300 ml) and then poor into it hot coffee .... there is no any strange aftertaste, powder cannot be noticed and is not changing the taste of coffee, neither is coffee thick.I never ever had any health problems (like diarrhea or anything similar) what some users mentioned herer in reviews after taking this product.Right now I will order it again, bcos I almost finished first box.
