I tried many other clocks and weather stations. None are like this one. This one works well. It is well built. I bought my first one 6 years ago and it is still going strong. I bought this one for my man sports cave. It is 100% accurate unlike those knock off ones. The remote unit works 200 feet away. Very bright display with three modes to choose. It is perfect. No issues. Very easy to set up. Just set the time and the rest is automatic. It does take 24 hours to sync so be patient. The only thing that I don't like it's the angle is hard to see the blue humidity when sitting down. I only care about the temperature and glad that it's white in color. I do wish it was bigger for my man cave which is 40 feet long. It's hard to see that far away. Highly recommend.

This is a HUGE upgrade from the piece of junk I bought from Walmart a few years ago. The display is bright and the remote sensor worked as soon as I put in the batteries. The one this replaced always had a problem communicating with the sensor and the past few months I was going through batteries like crazy. This one at least has an AC adapter and just that feature alone makes it worth buying it. There are videos on YouTube that show how to set this up too, in case you don't like to read directions.Two and half year update: I bought this in April 2017 and if worked flawlessly. I've only had to change the batteries once in that time until recently. Just a few days ago I had to change the batteries again. After jumping through all the hoops to do that to make it work again (take out the batteries from both the station and remote, unplug the station, press any button at least 20 times and leave it unplugged for 15 minutes), which there is no documentation on unless you happen to find this instruction on their youtube channel, my remote only works for a day or two and I have to repeat the process. So it's clear to me I have to buy either a new remote for over $25 of a new station and remote for $65. Yes, two and a half years is a long time but I think this should have lasted a lot longer since there are no moving parts, just electronics. The remote doesn't even look water proof since when I first opened it a few days ago, there was water in it. You'd think they'd make these things water proof, or at least water resistant. But oh, you can buy the weather-proof case for these remotes for $18.

I like the color display and understand the need for power. Overall I am happy.There are some annoying aspects.* the display at certain angles such as below is harder to read* the sensor has a blinking red LED* pressing heat/dew 3 times to get mold risk instead of having it displayed by default on a mold version is sloppy* WWV radio reception never worked no matter how I angled it, tripped radio reception or pulling power -- suspect WiFi/Bluetooth interference* manual makes no reference to mounting screw sizesOverall is does as well as my old battery only non-color WA-9630U-IT. There is a temperature skew of 0.5 to 1 degree F even between external sensor and base.

My wife decided she needed a weather station in the kitchen since walking the five steps to the one in the living room was too difficult for her, so we started researching. There is no shortage of these gizmos on the market, so we ended up going through a bunch before setteling on this one, and it was worth the effort. She really likes this machine - the informations is large enough for her to see easily and it has just about everything one really needs to know what's going on inside and outside with no info we really don't need; for example, the living-room machine has UVI level, Kfc (chicken measure?) something and the pressure, none of which are maningful for us. In addition, the info shown is quite large, larger than necessary for her poor eyes. Of real use to me is that all the info is adjusted automatically. I was looking forward to a miserable time of setting all the measurements and, lo and behold, it all set automatically - I didn't have to do anything. Of course this is a relatively new purchase so I can't comment on its longevity which is a problem we've had with other brands - they give up the ghost after a year or two. I would definitley recommend this to folks who just want the basic info on the weather and aren't worried about wind speed or rain level (which I find useful on my other one for gardening purposes).

When looking straight on at the screen it’s great. However, at any other angle it’s a crap shoot. That is the reason for loss of stars. If it’s too high, you can’t read it while sitting in a chair. Too low and you can’t read while standing.As far as the information: It’s great. Temps are accurate as well as humidity and other information.Set up: Set up was fairly easy. The directions are simple enough. Connecting the outdoor sensor was simple.Couple notes: The display will NOT stay lit unless you use the plug. I did put the batteries in for back up though.Also, it can be hung on the wall or there is a small adjustable stand in the back. I did not use a screw or nail to hang outdoor sensor... I used command strips. They worked well and lasted longer than the life of my previous device.

Sensor Remoto no transmite
El monitor esta muy bien solo que el sensor remoto NO transmite cuando la temperatura supera los 35 grados centígrados, a pesar de que el sensor esta en su protector, abajo de esta temperatura todo muy bien, lo acabo de adquirir, espero que me puedan cambiar el sensor por uno que funcione correctamente en todo el rango que se indica en su hoja técnica.

Just got this yesterday. Very well packaged and easy to understand set up instructions. The colours are amazingly vibrant and clear. Using the power cord is a must and I'm told the cost is very minimal if you want the light on all the time. There's a button that I have not as yet tried to use that regulates the brightness. Yes, I agree with others about limited viewing angle but it's not that of a big deal. I can see the outdoor and indoor temps from about 6 ft away, but not the date and time. I tend to want to follow the temps several times a day. I love that it is large and so easy to read, and the animated raindrops or snowflakes are a nice touch. I will do another review in about a couple of weeks to see how it's going but for now, I'm really enjoying it.
