5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy and does a nice job
This broom is simple to assemble, the locking hub will prevent the handle from coming loose and it is a sturdy built broom. The outer bristles are softer than the inner bristles allowing you to sweep up light and small objects as well as more coarse or heavier objects - like wet sand versus dust. The only very minor change I would make is to lengthen the handle a few inches, it just seems a little bit short to me and I'm only 5'7" tall. But really, it's a nice broom for sweeping the driveway, sidewalk or basement concrete.
5.0 out of 5 stars Broom Attach to Handle Is Genius
the way this attaches to the head of the broom is by first fitting the plastic mitered tip of the handle into the head of the broom, with mated open spaces. next, a large and heavy duty plastic knob screws down clamping the handle at the correct angle securely onto the broom head. and this thing is both sturdy and LIGHTWEIGHT. i have used wooden for years but they rot in months and are heavy. not only do the bristles pick up a bunch of twigs and leaves quite effortlessly, this rolls just as easy over concrete as it does deck boards. will be buying more O-Cedar products in the future. highly rx!
4.0 out of 5 stars Solid light weight broom - handle could be a little sturdier
This push broom cleans well and picks up most of the debris on the first swipe. It works on multiple surfaces like garage floors, concrete patios, etc. We have synthetic ice in the backyard that can get dirty when the wind picks up. We use this broom to clean off the dust that accumulates on the synthetic ice and it works well.Pros:- Bristles are thick and sturdy: picks up on the first pass for most applications- Attaching the handle is simple: stick the handle, twist it, done- The width of the brush is big enough for almost any applicationTo keep an eye on:While this hasn't caused a problem yet. The handle is similar material to other O'Cedar products I have used, where if you put some pressure on it, it may bend. I haven't had that problem and considering that this is a push broom, it probably won't be a problem. A handle with a little bit better materials would earn it a 5 star.Overall recommended for most applications where you need a push broom.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best lightweight push broom ever!
This broom is terrific! It is light, but durable...you can't tell from the picture, but the outside bristles are plastic, made from recycled soda bottles. Now that is green! the inner bristles are stiffer and pick up the small rocks and debris like leaves, and the stuff my Bradford Pear trees leave all over my deck. It is also very useful for the garage and driveway. Some of the reviewers mentioned that it was great for brushing snow off their cars, well it is near the end of May now, but I am sure I will get to put it to use when the snow comes in December and January...
5.0 out of 5 stars Great broom. Paid $20 for mine
Tried to buy a 2nd one of these for the garage. Had paid $20 for the first one. Am NOT going to pay $60 for another. It is not worth $60, but is totally worth the $20. Yes, I bought it from Bolo on March 19th, 2023. This is not inflation. More like price gouging.
5.0 out of 5 stars Quality garage tool
After reading some of the ridiculous reviews on this broom I decided to go with it anyway because of the O-Cedar name . I assembled it without a problem and have been using it every day. Cement floor, driveway and wooden floors. Works wonderfully. Glad I had confidence in the name brand- I have three other O-Cedar mops which serve me well.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good Brom and a Good Price
Good broom for the price. It sweeps a rough surface very well, It is ideal for outdoor sweeping, not so great on a interior wood floor. The bristles and nice and firm which are good for sweeping of heavier debris. Used in on my cement patio and tiled porch, did a good job Used it on my interior wood floor and does not collect finer dust. It may also be good for an indoor/outdoor carpet. The locking ring is a very clever design, after heavy sweeping you may need to re-tighten the locking ring which is no big deal. The handle is not slippery and has a good grip. I would definiely recommend this broom for outdoor use, For the price it is a good buy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great!
I got this broom for my boyfriend for his garage space and he loves it. The handle is not too long, not too short, bristles pick up light and heavier stuff, the size is perfect maneuvering a somewhat tight space. Great broom.
Works well
Easy to but together , sturdy , a little pricey but if it has longevity will be worth it .
