This pitching net is priced mid range. Assembly of the bungee over the tube frame is tedious but straightforward. Once assembled it would be difficult to disassemble for transport. In use, the frame will twist and must be weighted-down, else it will move when the ball strikes it. Once it is set up, it works fine and will be fully functional. The bungees are clipped with a light duty band and will fall apart. The loss of a few bungees does not affect performance. Overall, it works well for occasional use, but not for everyday with out the mentioned minor modifications.

This didn’t last even one full throwing session. The elastic bands just snapped off of the hooks. If the elastic won’t last then the whole thing is useless. I will be contacting the manufacturer to see if they will refund. I’d look for something more sturdy.

I bought this for my girls first Xmas so they can learn to pitch and field grounders and they love it. The net broke within the first week so I’m ordering a replacement and will swap the net out but unfortunately the net is just too tight and the net is sturdy enough to possibly hold up long term. I’ll try another one and see how long it’ll last. Might need to get another brand. We’ll see

You can switch the batter from left to right hand side and flip the whole thing around and it becomes a batting practice setup. Little tedious on the initial setup but it works great!

Bought this net for the purpose of the rebounding net for kids to practice fielding solo. The added bonus is the pitching target on the reverse side. Two kids can both play separately at the same time on this one unit. Rebounder is good quality and good size target area. The pitching target is not amazing, but serves it purpose as an added bonus. I definitely recommend this rebounder net combo.

I rarely leave bad reviews but this time the manufacturer needs to use materials far better than they used on this one.My 8 and 11 year old grandsons who play 8u rec and 11u Cobra/travel ball used this to practice for half an hour after I put it together and the net broke in three places. could understand if the 11 year old was practicing his pitches against the net but they were both lobbing the ball at it to get used to the return throw because when it works, it will throw it back to you quickly.Another issue is how the net is held to the frame. The hooks are plastic and the elastic is held together with pinch clamps. If you hit the frame where one of them is attached, it breaks and goes flying. I still haven’t found two of them. Once they break, the net becomes unbalanced and doesn’t return the ball directly back, it will throw it back in at a different angle.The concept of these trainers isn’t new but the quality of the materials is ridiculously poor. I’m surprised and disappointed that Franklin would put their name on this garbage.Buy a better model and don’t waste your money on this one. Sorry Franklin, you guys need to have higher standards when it comes to the manufacturing of the parts used.

13 year old son used this for pitching practice from 60 feet. Threw about 40-50 pitches each session. Frame broke after 3 sessions. Had to replace it after 5 sessions as it was unusable after that. Felt like a waste of money.
