These brushes are AMAZING! So soft! Seriously, so so soft. I did like they suggested and washed the brushes right away after receiving and even during the rinsing and squeezing the water out, none of the fibers came out at all. Lamora really made a well constructed brush. They go on feather lite and there is no scratchy feeling like you get with some other brushes. Honestly it feels like a pillow on your face. Also, the travel cup that comes with this set is top quality. It is PERFECT because I hate digging in a bag looking for the brush I want. This stays upright holding all your brushes and when I travel (which I do for a living) I put the lid on and toss it in my suitcase. They did not skimp on quality where any of this set is concerned. I like that all the essential brushes you really need come in this set. Loose powder/blush/bronzer or finishing powder and the eye brushes with a shader, blender and detailer. These brushes are not labeled but I bought the set of 7 Eye Brushes by Lamora (in addition to this set) and THOSE were labeled, however at this point in my makeup life I know which brush I use for each thing so I didn't need that really. All of the brushes I purchased including the 7piece set by Lamora are amazing. This particular set is worth far more than they are charging. (Around $35 at the time of this review) You can't even get 2 single top quality brushes for that price with other brands. I did a ton of research and reading of reviews before deciding on this set. I wanted a set with the MOST ESSENTIAL brushes AND I wanted that travel cup. After all the research I kept coming back to these, because for the price and quality you cannot beat this set. Don't even waste your time. Just buy this set now. You will not be sorry! *Note, I am a professional entertainer by trade (singer) and I always wear makeup! I have used cheap to very pricey brushes in my life and I promise you, these are top of the line!

This brush set is wonderful! Service was great, my order came within 24 hours. This set has fewer brushes than most sets I've seen but the brushes it does have are of great quality and are the brushes I actually use. Because you don't pay for a bunch of superfluous brushes the quality of the ones you get is far better than I would expect at this price point. The brushes are well made, with sturdy handles and well attached bristles; after taking them out of the packaging and shaking off a few loose hairs the bristles have remained intact over the last two weeks of daily use. The brushes are also extremely soft, which makes my morning routine a delight. The brushes are easily cleaned with warm water and a drop of shampoo. The container they come with is wonderful, simple and sleek, I keep it on my vanity. Overall definitely worth the price.

***EDITED review** I'm very impressed with this seller, after receiving the brush set initially I had some shedding and posted my review, they contacted me and I have to say wow it's refreshing to see such good customer service!! Changing my rating to 5 stars! If you're looking for good quality brushes at a great price look no further, you've found it with this set!!(Original comment) I'm a beginner makeup brush user so was hoping to see any type of instructions or identifiers for what each brush is used for (since it's not labeled on the brushes). Otherwise they are very soft and appear to be good quality for the price. I did use some today and found it a bit more difficult than I expected, so I'll have to look online for some other tutorials to ensure its not my technique (which I'm sure it is lol). I love the case to hold the brush set, it looks to be made of good quality also and will come in handy when I travel.One last thing, and really this is why I didn't rate the set at 5 stars: several of the brushes have shed upon taking them out of the packaging, and one had the name only partially on the handle.

I own the Eye Makeup Brush Set too and I loved the feeling of those brushes. Some of those same brushes are in this set. I think this is a great set of basics: foundation, contour, powder. I know the Real Techniques set contains an extra beauty blender and no powder brush so it felt incomplete compared to this set.PROS:Wonderful foundation coverage. I have really bad acne, scarring, and discoloration on my cheeks. I had only ever used a sponge and it used to literally take me an hour to do foundation and concealer. The sponge or my finger would not blend my concealer without pushing it or making it disappear and I would spend a long time having to layer again and again. Using the same foundation, the flat kabuki brush gave me full coverage with a beautiful natural finish. I was even able to use it with concealer on my dark pimples. (Dab concealer onto pimple, pat with the brush, blend the edges out with fingers.) This cut my face makeup from one hour down to ten minutes.The powder brush is great. It's lovely and soft which is ideal for powder. Doesn't cake my powder at all and it leaves a nice finish. I suspect this has more to do with my technique than the brush itself.CONS:Contour: In my own opinion, the contour brush is a little too rounded for my face. I like really clean cut line and having a lot of control when it comes to the contour under my cheekbones. I would prefer a smaller,more precise brush but I suspect that with some practice, I can make this one work the way I want. This varies from person to person since I like a small contour. You might not.
