5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Powerful Compact Portable PA System
I am amazed at the amount of power coming from this small unit, and the clarity of the audio and speech. I tested this system in a ballroom of about 250 people for a Birthday Party slide show, and I had no trouble filling the room with clear audio. I compared this unit to a 5000watt 18 inch 2 JBL speakersystem, that was also used in the same party, as the primary audio for the master of ceremony and DJ of the Party. The JBL speaker system undoubtedly had an advantage to reproduce the low end punch and making the ballroom vibrate. But the Behringer PPA 2000BT had the advantage of clarity. That is why there is the optional subwoofer out to add on to this system to make the ballroom resonate and rumble, if I want to do the same. I had the main volume set at the middle for both left and right channels, and the Blue tooth channel one notch to the right of dead center, and the equalizer on. This was enough to fill the ballroom so that everyone weren't yelling at each other. I just needed to intermittently adjust the treble, base, blue tooth audio volume because of how the slide show music was previously recorded, not at the same audio levels. The first drawback I have is the skimpy compartment door that keeps the mic, speaker wires, and power cord in the back of the amplifier. Thank goodness It did not pop out during the transport to the ballroom. The 2 door compartment hinges are flimsy and under pressure, the plastic compartment door will flex dropping all contents including the door. Need to see if someone has found a fix to this compartment door flaw. The second drawback, as reported by other owners, is the small wheels, and the placement of the wheels.. The wheelbase needs to be widened to the outside. Right now If you hit a bump(while moving) it will cause the case to sway back and forth resonating to the point of possibly falling on a side if not caught in time by your other free hand. The third drawback, as mentioned by other owners is the skimpy clasps. You don't get the sure clasps locking as you would get from, for an example, as a toolbox cover or a gun case. The overall audio performance of the PPA2000BT you will not be disappointed. The compact portability of how everything is packed into a 3 piece clamshell design is ingeneous. Very easy to set up and breakdown all done in one trip and in a few minutes. The bluetooth connectivity works well, able to play audio 25ft-30ft away with no breaks in audio.
5.0 out of 5 stars Performs Well!
I've had it for 2 months now and use it every week. I play in a Church choir and run my vocals and acoustic guitar (DI out) thru this PA as I practice each week in my home. I haven't used it live, but I have no doubts it will do the job. The tones are solid, even w/out the optional subwoofer.I upgraded from my old Fender Passport P150 (which I donated to my Church). This Behringer is BIG! I probably could have gotten by with the smaller PPA500BT, but I like the upgraded features on the 2000.The first thing I noticed was how quiet it runs compared to the older Fender PA. The sound is richer and more authentic. Running my acoustic thru an LR Baggs Venue DI, I get a better view of what my tone will sound like when I run it thru the Church PA.My only regret is that there are no "mute" buttons on either the individual channels or the system. Still, I'm happy with this purchase ;). Rock on!
1.0 out of 5 stars Adorama?
Very dissatisfied. Daughter purchased PPA2000BR for me on January 6, 2023. 6 mos later on the 3rd use, in the middle of a party, it shut down. Green blinking lights on front panel by USB PORT. Seller, Adorama, a supposed Super Partner agreement dealer, states I must pay shipping to return item at my cost of 187. My daughter, had to pay 111 to ship to me. Seller said, before seeing item, all they could do is refund purchase price, excluding shipping. If I had known that it would only last 3 uses I would have returned it immediately and chastised my daughter for not researching the company well enough before she bought it. My sister has one and it works great. Must have been one of those that just got through quality control inspection before being boxed up. Anyway, I am very disappointed in the way this was handled. When I contacted music tribe about it, they just stated that I will have to go through seller for everything. To me that was a pass the buck way of doing business. But who am I to complain? I am just the customer, well really my daughter was.Since then I have contacted Bolo to help me rectify situation with Behringer and Adorama. Adorama claims they would refund my money for the purchase, 1-3 days after they received my shipping of the product. I have shipped the product and have confirmation they received the product on Monday, August 14 at 8:30am. I contacted Adorama on 8-17 and they said they would respond to me in 1-2 more business days. Needless to say I am not able to do anything but wait now. This complaint is probably falling of def ears anyway. But I will guarantee one thing, if I am ever asked about my opinion about the company, I will have to tell them about my experience.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great overall with one small but annoying flaw
Total decent, powerful system overall. Had one issue with internal fuse shutdown, but overall great bang for the buck. The one very avoidable design flaw, as others have mentioned: the wheels are too small and too close together, which means you’ll spend a lot of time carrying a pretty heavy system instead of wheeling it.
4.0 out of 5 stars Luggable, not portable
Great sounding PA system for this niche of PA products. Just know that you're trading quantity of inputs for convenience, price and "luggability". The Bluetooth feature works great and has reasonable range. I like that you can add a sub-woofer if you like. Not all similar products have that capability. The flimsy build of the latches is well documented in consumer reviews here. It's not a deal-killer but it is a head scratcher as to why Behringer will value-engineer them practically to uselessness. With that said, this is overall a great PA for folks who can live without a lot of sophisticated features. Don't expect too much and you'll enjoy this system.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality, Arrived Quickly, Easy to Set up and Use
Great product, exactly as advertised. Be warned, this is larger than it looks, and heavy. However, it stands up well on tripod stands, the sound is great for a small venue. Very happy with it.
If you want this system for music, you should definitely have an active subwoofer
I bought this PA system to go along with my 700 watt powered subwoofer which is a cerwin vega and it sounds awesome for just playing music. For my subwoofer i have two options between master and slave settings. Definitely use the slave settings to get the full volume from the subwoofer. I'm thinking that a 1000 watt active subwoofer would work perfectly with this system. I hooked up my 7 string guitar and 5 string bass to the PA System and subwoofer with distortion pedals and it sounds awesome. I mainly use it inside my living room for music through my smart TV or smartphone for music or watching movies in stereo and it works great. Just need to learn how to use the equalizer, youtube has a lot of videos for different settings. I haven't used it for any events or anything yet but I do need to upgrade the 700 watt subwoofer to at least a 1000 watt subwoofer to match this PA system. The Bluetooth works very well on this system and the sound quality is awesome. I haven't really used the mic so I can't say much about that.

Overall worthwhile but you’ll be buying new latches
So far I’m pretty happy with the system. A touch better build quality in the latches would be nicer. I broke one latch just after unboxing the unit. The second broke on the 3rd use. Neither case did any amount of force get used on them. Disappointed at that. The sound and ease of use of the system however is impressive. I was unsure how well it would do in a larger room but it managed to entertain a crowd of 300 without maxing out the volume. I can replace the latches. To have a compact, inexpensive system that meets my needs is what makes this a great purchase.
