This mix makes the best gluten-free pancakes and waffles. I use dairy free milk (oat milk) and dairy free butter or avocado oil and it makes wonderful fluffy pancakes or perfect waffles every time. I never thought I would get good pancakes and waffles again until I tried this mix.

I’ve been trying every and all brands of gluten free mixes out here in an effort to find one that tastes like what I had before going gluten free. Upon opening the package I was impressed with how silky smooth the mix was. The pancakes ended up being fluffy and tastes absolutely delicious, BETTER than many regular mixes and definitely better than any gluten free mixes I’ve tried previously. Next I’ll be trying to make waffles with it, although I might try less milk as it’s a tad thin for waffles when you utilize the pancake recipe. Price perspective is very well priced, the bag isn’t huge but you only need 1 cup of mix for enough pancakes for 2 ppl. (It yielded about 8 small/medium pancakes) So it goes farther than you’d think. Try it, I think you’ll be very impressed!

So I tried making “funnel cake” from this batter. I didn’t deep fry it, just used a non stick pan to be healthier lol. The pancake mix is great for this type of thing as it’s light and fluffy. The consistency and texture is great whether it’s pancakes or making something else with it. This batter is easy to mix and it smells really good. I never have any issues making pancakes or now these “funnel cakes” using the batter. I would recommend this brand as it’s a very well known brand and safe for those of us with allergies. Fantastic price too.

Let me preface this by saying that I'm still new to being gluten-free, and I haven't tried very many GF box mixes yet. (GF is expensive, yo!) So, I don't have anything to compare it against other than our usual easy standby pancake mix, which is a sweet buttermilk.When mixed properly according to package directions, I observed that it:-Looks like typical pancake batter-Pours like typical pancake batter-Cooks like typical pancake batter-Has the same texture as typical pancake batterand-Tastes like a typical plain type pancake batter (after cooking, of course)The flavor needs a little help, in my opinion, and I foresaw this because our usual easy add-water mix already has a lot of flavor in it; I added some vanilla extract to the liquid ingredients before mixing into the dry mix, and added some of our cinnamon/sugar combo to it. Next time I use this, I'm going to try making them with buttermilk instead of just milk. It's not bad otherwise, just me being nitpicky. However, I'm going to only give it a 4/5 because of one thing, and it's kind of a big one. We've made our own pancake mix in the past, and this really isn't any different. The only thing is that the dry ingredients are already mixed for you, and you're just adding the wet. To me, that really doesn't make this worth it to keep in the house knowing that I already have everything else to make it, and probably for a lot cheaper, GF 1:1 flour included. If this were a just add water mix, it would be a bit different, just for the ease of mixing and cooking quickly without having to make a mess or extra dishes, but it's not.So, good if you don't want to have to go through the work of finding a recipe to make them yourself (and everything that goes into it), bad if you're used to cooking from scratch anyway, and very likely already have all the ingredients on-hand. I'll use this stuff up, but I won't buy it again. I'll just adjust our preexisting pancake mix recipe for GF.

I’ve tried all the big name GF pancake mixes and these are BY FAR the best ones. They are the closest to real pancakes in terms of taste and consistency. They aren’t chalky, dry or turn into hockey pucks. Most importantly, I do not get any reactions or side effects. This is a “safe food” for me which is rare with boxed or processed foods. I struggle with eczema and have many trigger foods that cause immediate flare ups or reactions, but I can eat these several days in a row and tolerate them just fine. I actually feel full and don’t get a blood sugar crash. This has become a staple in my pantry. I can’t find it in my local store so Bolo it is. In terms of delivery I haven't had issues and the expiration dates are far out. I will keep buying!
