These picks do the job and work well for their intended use. A tiny bit of care is all that is needed to remove one from the bunch. I don't pull them out by the pointed end. The reason being this can disengage the wire from the pick. Instead I clamp my thumb and forefinger over the very top including where the wire is connected and pull the pick out upwards. Doing it this way helps to not have the wire and pick separate. Hope this helps!
