Best hair cutter that I have found. Length cut is perfect and the vacuum really works. It's a little tricky opening the hair container but manageable. I am very impressed.

Works great right out of the box. Unit was fully assembled, and it fired right up and never missed a beat during two amateur haircutting sessions. Not rock solid structurally like the pro clippers in barber shops, of course -- but I won't be using it every day, and don't expect it will get dropped on the living room floor, so it's plenty rugged enough for me.The vacuum hair-collection chamber is very easy to see into, through blue-shaded plastic; and that compartment is also crazy-easy to remove, empty, and replace. No fancy tabs to break off -- it's more of a goof-proof friction fit.Simple instructions. Takes about 5 minutes to read the instructions, even if you haven't had your coffee yet. Only the must-know info is there...if you want to get fancy with a particular hairstyle, there's always the internet and social media. (Good luck with that.) One thing you'll chuckle about is the statement to the effect of "make sure that hair on left and right sides are trimmed to the same length." Remington must have had some complaints about bilaterally asymmetric haircuts given with this product over the years, but frankly, if you want to give such a haircut, there’s not much that the recipient can do about it, since it’s probably a freebie haircut you’re providing anyway, as most likely required by your local laws. Everything else in the short instructions is news you can use, and probably should -- particularly if you've never used a hair trimmer/cutter before!Long power cord. If this multi-foot power cord isn't long enough for your haircutting task, beware, you have a Rapunzel situation on your hands. Get the scissors or tin snips, a good umbrella insurance policy (it had better catch more than just falling hair damage), and work your way up, before using this Remington Kit.No (or very little) mess. More than 95% of clipped hairs were vacuumed away into the unit. I didn't do an actual quantitation of the hair caught versus hair escaped. Check back in 5 or 10 years when I'll update this review for aggregated statistical data, controlled for length and thickness of hair, among other variables that I can "tease" from the hair data. I was eager to set this up as a double-blind study and get "rolling," but my subjects were not willing to let me cut their hair with blindfolds in the study design, so I "trimmed" that double-blind study idea. Apparently amateur haircut folkways in my town require the haircutter and haircutee to watch what's going on from start-to-finish during the barbering process...who knew?!

This hair clipper with a built-in vacuum is a fantastic tool for keeping haircuts clean and mess-free. It captures a majority of the clippings, drastically reducing cleanup time, though it’s not 100% mess-free; some stray hairs still escape. The results are impressive, with smooth and professional-looking cuts. However, the clippers are quite noisy, so much so that you might consider using ear muffs/plug, especially if you're cutting kids' hair or are sensitive to loud sounds. Additionally, the price point is on the higher side compared to standard clippers. A cordless version would work even better for convenience and maneuverability, especially in hard-to-reach areas. That said, the convenience of the vacuum feature and the overall durability make it worth the investment. If you're willing to work around the noise, cost, and minor mess, this tool can still be a valuable addition to your grooming routine!

I've been cutting my own hair for about 15 years, and have tried almost every brand of clippers on the market. And lemme tell ya: This brilliant technology should set the standard for all hair clippers everywhere.SO EASY TO USE!!! SUCH GREAT QUALITY!! THE VACUUM FEATURE IS ONE OF A KIND and GENUINELY LIFE CHANGING!!Now I can literally give myself a haircut right before I go somewhere, even if I've already taken my shower.I used to "put off" and procrastinate on cutting my hair, and I'd honestly get feeling self-conscious or depressed until I "got around to it." I would put it off because I didn't wanna deal with the clean up. This changes all that.Now I cut my hair super often because it's so effortless, clean, quick and easy with these clippers!!I've owned many, many clipper sets from many brands including well-known big names like Wahl.These clippers are hands-down, above and beyond the best haircut clippers I've EVER owned. The hair cutting process is so smooth and efficient. The quality of the cut looks like I paid for a high end trim at the barber.Very, very easy to use. Maybe I'm just used to a very very old pair of clippers, but dang is this nice. Obviously it's loud, duh. Obviously it only collects most and not all of the hair. But it sure works smooth and makes trimming my beard a lot easier. I'd probably buy it again.

Wie besaßen bereits den Vorgänger dieses Haarschneiders, der mit internen Akkus betrieben wurde. Nachdem er leider nicht mehr funktionierte, wurden wir auf dieses Gerät mit Stromkabel aufmerksam.Nach ungewöhnlich langer Lieferzeit (mehrere Wochen) erhielten wir den Haarschneider von Remington mit Absaugvorrichtung in einer bereits geöffneten Verpackung. Nach dem Auspacken stellte sich heraus, dass das Gerät einen Stromstecker für die USA besitzt. Ohne Adapter ist das Gerät also nicht benutzbar.Das Zubehör hingegen ist umfangreich und die Absaugung funktioniert sehr gut. An das Stromkabel muss man sich zuerst gewöhnen, wenn man eine Version mit Akku gewohnt ist. Dafür ist das Gerät an sich leichter.
Super light body and sharp blades, need a US adapter for the mains tho
Collected 90% of the hair, not noisy and was super lightweight. The plug issue was its downfall but fortunatly my dad had an adapter so we could use it once it was unwrapped at Christmas, he had been waiting for that haircut a while!
Great clipper if you hate cleaning up hair clippings.
I wish it were cordless, and it is a bit bulky even for normal hands. The noise makes you feel like you are using a dyson to cut your hair (exaggerating a bit) BUT...it does a great job, and it really does "vacuum" 98% of you hair/beard clippings. You'll have to clean up a little after, but it's not even close to be as annoying as using a regular clipper. I recommend it, it comes with great accessories too. Emptying/cleaning it is very easy.
