This is pleasing if you like thin rim glassware. Very simple but with a twist and hint of color. Very pleasantly surprised ended up ordering both sizes

I was looking for double old fashioned glasses for my husband. The blue in these is subtle but pretty. He likes a larger drink, and these fit the bill. I will say if you have smaller hands these may be a little harder for you to hold, but we do not have a problem. They are sturdy with a thick bottom and not too frail all around. They do hold 14 oz.

We had 2 of these break in less than a month, they break way too easily, they feel like they are going to break in your hand. One had a small plate tip onto it and it shattered, the other had a huge chunk break off for literally no reason, I just picked it up and it broke. Not usable as cups.

Rather pricey product. Highly disappointing. Can you find the “ombré “. Barely visible.If you are looking for Blue it is minimal.All we see predominantly is white circles. Not like the picture in the advertisement at all.Save your money

First off, the packaging and shipping were perfect. The glasses were packed in an incredibly secure package. No way they were getting damaged. On terms of glassware, these are easily the most lovely cocktail glasses we own and I have a lot. I have the tall glass version of these as well. Both are so well made and a pleasure to have in your hand. These glasses are big and somewhat heavy. Perfect to accommodate a big square cube for us bourbon drinkers. You will be proud to break these glasses out for guests. 100%! My only word of caution, and I learned this the hard way with the tall glasses, is that these glasses are thin around the top. I point this out because, depending on your ice maker in your fridge, they will crack somewhat easily when exposed to ice coming out of your fridge fast. Make sure to put ice in these by hand. They are dishwasher safe but again, after experience with the tall glasses, these are best to be hand washed. The frost in the ridges will begin to show wear and these have some blue coloring in the base that usually doesn't wear well in the dishwasher. Regardless of the care requirements, you need to buy these if a statement piece set of glassware is on your list. They are truly beautiful. Strong recommendation from me here.

We really like Mikasa products and picked these up to have some more stylish options with our glassware. These Double Old Fashioned Whiskey Glasses are modern takes on a classic glass.Typical of old-fashioned whiskey glasses they're heavy with most of the weight concentrated in the thick glass base. They're also quite large, nearly 3 1/2" across, and heavy so they can be a bit challenging to hold if you have smaller hands. Mikasa have put a modern twist on these by using thin glass walls, deep linear etching around the glasses as a modern accent, and a beautiful aqua blue cast to the base of the glass while the rest of the glass remains transparent or slightly gray. The accent does double-duty by help you maintain your grip on the glass.Although the listing says "dishwasher safe" the glasses have stickers that declare "hand wash only". I'd trust the stickers and not put them in the dishwasher.These are gorgeous glasses that are equally at home in your glassware collection or as a wedding gift.Highly recommended.

These are just beautiful. I love the shape, color, size and texture of these glasses. They are clearly Artisan crafted and suitable for any beverage but they are lowball/old fashioned sized for those whiskey drinkers out there. Each one holds 15.5 fluid ounces filled to the brim which is pretty good. They are HAND WASH ONLY which means I have to avoid putting them in the dishwasher. The rim is very thin and I worry about cracking or breaking them. However the weighted bases are very nice and add more stability which is particularly important when pouring drinks. No major complaints or issues to report about them. I like them a lot and certainly would give them my recommendation! They'd make a handsome gift set idea too.

We don't drink alcoholic beverages, but I ordered the lovely Mikasa Cal Ombre glasses to go with a dark blue set of dinnerware we have, and they look beautiful as part of my table setting! However, I should have paid closer attention to two important details - the price and the diameter of the glasses! At $54.54 for 4 glasses, that's quite costly! And they are much too large for me (female, average-sized hands) to comfortably handle, especially with arthritic hands. My husband says they fit his hand just fine, but he said he would never pay $54.54 for any 4 glasses!The Mikasa Cal Ombre glasses are of the quality one would expect from Mikasa. They are marked "Made in Czech Republic," as stated on the product page.The glasses arrived well packaged and well protected during shipment.In clear contradiction to the "easy care, dishwasher-safe" notation on the product page, there are stickers on each glass stating "hand-wash." Priced at $54.54 for 4, these glasses are pretty expensive and I doubt one would want to experiment with them by washing them in the dishwasher!In summary, these glasses are quite pretty, but they are much too large for me to comfortably hold, and they are weighted! As I mentioned, I should have paid more attention to the diameter before I ordered them so no stars were deducted. However, the glasses are quite thin at the top, which makes for a better feel on the lips as one drinks, but I wonder about durability and the risk of chipping them, even though they will be hand washed.Time will tell it's own story about durability and I'll update my review if I encounter issues. For now, 4 stars.
