We offer three different blade pattern models and two blade hardness options in this product category as well as two tradesmen sets. These models perform superior to respective model ASME Performance Requirements.
Our offset model aviation snips are "The Sheetmetal Tradesman's Choice" because they are truly the easiest models to use in a variety of sheetmetal cutting applications. The offset blade pattern flows material away from the blades. This allows the snip to move forward without interference when making cuts through long sheets. It also allows the snip to cut tighter curves than other blade pattern models. The left and right blade pattern models cut the tightest curves while the straight blade pattern offers a slightly longer length of cut.

The media could not be loaded. I had a set of Midwest snips probably 20 years ago and these look like they haven't changed since then. Since then I bought other brands including Wiss that I took a picture with to compare what they look like. You can see the Midwest snips are built bulkier and they are definitely heavier. Both snips are spring loaded in the Midwest is nice and smooth. As you can see in the comparison photo the Wiss open way farther than the Midwest. The problem with that is it takes two hands or something to push against to get the whisp back in one hand if you drop that bottom handle whereas the Midwest stays in your hand no matter what.Overall I don't think you can beat the sharpness versatility and performance along with ease of use with any other brand snips.

These snips are regular snips they say special hardened but they are not but if you don't believe me order them and find out for yourself they are the regular midwest snips not the special hardened like they say don't trust me order them

I bought these this year for just over 60$ why are they over 100? They're not that much better than the original midwest. Not worth 100$ Even with the hardness factor of the snips, this doest not mean they will last much longer. Save 50$ and buy yourself the original pair of midwest off-sets. Unless you cut a-LOT of stainless....these are not a good go to option

Work like a charm use those for over 20 they usually last between 6 months to 2 years depending on the gage you cut aluminum or stainless steel
Best snips on market
Best snips on market. I am a sheet metal worker and I love these special harness ones even though they are a bit more expensive than the normal ones.The normal ones lasts me about 3 to 6months and they get a little dull to use in tight places but these ones i had them for over a year and they still cut in unfavourable spots as well.
Artículo muy bueno pero modelo erróneo
Excelentes tijeras muy cómodas de usar tanto para cortes rectos como curvas hacia la izquierda siendo el usuario diestro, el corte es limpio y preciso y por supuesto ni rastro de olguras. Entonces por que no pongo cinco estrellas, pues porque contacte previamente con el vendedor pera preguntar por las tijeras modelo MWT-SS6510L que son las que anuncian y son especiales para metales duros como el acero inoxidable y en ningún momento me informaron que las que tenian ellos y me iban a mandar eran el modelo MWT-6510L que no son malas ni mucho menos pero no son las que yo pedí.
