This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I will say that if you buy this coffee, do not start drinking it the same way you drink other coffee! Make sure to take it slow and see how much you need, because I had 2 cups probably of this coffee, and later on I realized that was all I needed for the day. Just be careful not to overdo it, and you'll really enjoy the taste and the caffeine rush it gives you!Ok now that what they wanted me to say is out of the way, I'll say that this coffee is heckin amazing??? The first time I had it I drank it over the course of 4 hours and it gave me so much energy I couldn't even believe it. Even now, I try to not use too much because I know it will end up causing me to not get enough sleep for work. It'll keep you wired, even if you have a high caffeine tolerance. The best part? It tastes WONDERFUL. I've let friends try it and every time I have them ask if it tastes too strong or anything, and it really doesn't! It's a very smooth flavor, and it works well with any creamer you want to try or if you just want some milk and sugar. It may be a bit expensive, but it is most definitely worth it.

This is my 2nd order. I expected this coffee to be very, very bitter but this is the smoothest coffee I've ever had. Honestly, I don't even like coffee all that much - I drink it only at work and I think that's only to have something to drink instead of water or juice etc!! I don't drink regular coffee, I have my own "special blend" that I mix up because regular coffee is just bitter and nasty tasting to me. With my first order I made a pot of the Death Wish at home and was shocked at how good it was. I then took it to work (I'm in the military) and made a pot and talked my Superintendent and my Operations Officer into trying it - they both really liked it. The next day I made the Valhalla Java and they liked it too (so did I!!) I've told lots and lots of people that if they haven't tried these, they should. I was recently in Puerto Rico for a work trip and told anyone who would listen that they really needed to try these. I had the stickers from my first order on a clipboard and I showed it to them and told them to get the double pack and try them both!! A couple of months ago my Squadron Commander also tried the Death Wish and he liked it as well - we haven't gotten around to the Valhalla yet. Anyone who's not sure if they should try these two coffees need to go ahead and place their order - they will not be disappointed!

deathwish is simply the best coffee I have been able to discover & I consider myself a coffee snob. there are very few brands that I endorse but deathwish is one of them. they should give me a commission for the way I push their product on anyone who will listen. And anyone who tries the product, yes i bring in free demos, becomes a fan. deathwish is becoming easier to get at your local, but still worth the purchase on line, esp since i like the valhalla java, which i haven't seen on the shelves yet. if you like coffee, deathwish is the way to go. 100% satisfied

I brewed this coffee exactly how I would with any other coffee ignoring the recommendation on the bag. So all of the people who say it's just stronger because they recomend more coffee per 6 oz. are all full of it! I just got these today and I was super excited to finally try it out. It has a very strong super intense but still smooth flavor to it. I really like it because I am a fan of strong flavored coffee. It definately woke me up and that is saying something because some coffees just dont cut it for me. I say if you love the stronger flavored coffees and have a high tolerance to caffine give this stuff a try. I can't say that I'll be buying this stuff all that often because of the high price tag but I am glad I did because I have been wanting to try it. I haven't tried the Valhalla java one yet but that is definately what I'll be trying tomorrow morning!

My precious stock of valhalla java was running low, so i got on the Bolo to order more and what did my eyes behold? Could it be? Yes, a combo pack with the original death wish as well! I quickly ordered it as to not bring down the wrath of my ancestors. It arrived promptly, along with an email from deathwish the same day making sure everything was ok, and i voraciously opened the box. As i pulled out the Valhalla java i felt my beard purr with the righteousness of zakk wylde, but this was not my true goal. A choir of valkeryie sand in slavic verse as i pulled the glorious bag of Deathwish from the box, i carried it over to my coffee maker and revrently opened it and began the brewing process. A magical scent assaulted my senses as it finished, pouring a cup i was quivering with antici.....pation. As the black waves raided the shores of my mouth hole i couldn't help but smile, as i knew this would be my coffee from now on.I drink both coffee's black and they taste great, the Valhalla java is a wonderfully rich taste and neither is too bitter. The caffine content is high but it has yet to make me jittery. I would hands down tell anyone on the fence about getting this product to listen to Shia LeBouf and DO IT! It also comes with two stickers

If you buy these separately, you save $6. So they’re charging too much for this pack. Why charge more, if we buy them together? My 5th grade math teacher would be disappointed in the marketing agents at Death Wish!

Personally, I've never been a fan of flavored coffee UNTIL I tried gingerdead flavor. I LOVED IT SO MUCH. When I went to order several more bags, it was ""unavailable"".PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THIS WONDERFUL BLEND ! NO OTHERS COME CLOSE. EVEN THE SMELL IS PERFECTION !!

This is now our favorite coffee. It tastes way better than other coffees, and really how you'd expect coffees to taste.It doesn't taste burnt or bitter. And for all the caffeine content, it isn't in your face with a big punch. It's strong mind you, but it doesn't ever turn you away with power. It tastes right.And had I never tasted the normal Death Wish coffee, the Valhalla blend would be my favorite. It's a little milder, or different, but I don't think it's quite as good as the normal Death Wish.

Valhalla Java review. Death Wish was for a friend.Brewed up a cup of the VJ as soon as it arrived and I was able to see sounds and felt the power of Odin coursing through me. I considered running to China on this energy wave. Did not crash hard afterwards. A tad more bitter than Black Rifle's CAF blend.
Upgrade for strong coffee lovers
Bought this for a coffee loving/addicted friend. He is always mentioning how he likes strong coffee so it seemed like the perfect gift. He tells me that it blew his socks off!
