Additional features include unique sealed rims that completely encapsulate the aluminum layer inside the stainless steel. Internal volume markings in both US and metric units make measuring easy (except fry pans). All Viking Contemporary cookware combines a layer of aluminum sandwiched between heavy-gauge stainless steel. The aluminum core provides exceptional heat transfer throughout the cookware, while the magnetic stainless steel exterior makes it incredibly durable and safe for all cooktops, including induction. Very disappointed with this cookware, waited several months to write a review to make sure I wasn’t being too pessimistic. They’re very heavy. The interior finish is not smooth so anything and everything sticks. It’s past the window for returns, so these will be donated and replaced.

I am bummed! This cookware is really beautiful and well made, but the two larger lids arrived dented. The box seems to be too lightweight and flimsy for the weight of the cookware. I am returning it. The returns page was really easy to navigate but I wish I could have just gotten the lids replaced instead of returning the whole set ... that way I could start cooking right away!

The item was shipped in its original box which wasn't very sturdy. Every piece arrived dented and scratched. Nice set but expect to have to exchange if this happens to you.Update 03/01/23:I've been using these for over 3 years now and I still love them, they clean up amazingly well with a little barkeepers friend. Watch a video on how to use them and I promise you'll never want to use a non-stick again. These are professional chef quality pieces that will last a very long time.

Heavy duty!! Very nice quality! Not always the easiest to clean but I like that the teflon is not in them. I hate the idea of teflon and other non stick materials flacking off into my food.
