Kask's entry level road cycling helmet, the rapido, is 100 percent made in Italy. The EPS shell optimizes the management of impacts and structure-molding ensures the safety thanks to the polycarbonate roof of the dome on the top and at the rear. The helmet offers ventilation and breathability through 24 vents that are arranged in an aerodynamic structure. The up and down adjustment system gives the most precise and comfortable fitting of any helmet thanks to its unique double pivot design. This allows the back of the head to be cradled by the straps, which are then easily tightened to the correct tension by a Central ratchet wheel. This fit system combined with a very breathable, non-slip, gel internal liner ensures top performance by the user. Available in sizes: medium (52-58 cm) and large (59-62 cm).

I wasn’t expecting much for the price, even though the photos looked good. But dang, this Kask Rapido helmet has the same attention to detail of the rest of the Kask line. Yes, the paint job is limited and the black is pretty glossy and not matte. And it’s doesn’t have the most vents but works really well here in the start of SoCal summer. The fit was excellent and easily adjustable. The comfort beats my $350 Giro and looks better. There’s really nothing to dislike about the helmet and it has the KASK logo type on the side. I also love the yellow accents on the rear. My favorite helmet to date. Dumbfounded that it’s so inexpensive, but grateful.

The Kask Rapido is an amazing helmet, budget friendly or not. I bought mine for less than $30, a steal.I have a large noggin (62 cm) and the large fits well. The adjustment and fit is terrific. It is well vented and comfortable for long rides. The forehead sweat catcher is good but could be bigger (I sweat a lot). However, it is easy to remove, wring out and replace quickly.

I was pleasantly surprised that the orange color I ordered was indeed hi-vis/neon/fluorescent orange. I was expecting it to be just regular orange due to one of the (apparently, incorrect) responses to a question about that on Bolo, and also the stock Bolo photo. But as you can see in my photos, it is indeed hi-vis orange, which is actually what I was hoping for.The helmet is light at 257g measured for size medium, just not as light as I've seen it mentioned in web searches. The retention system is great and I think the helmet looks pretty good too.At the price I got it for on Bolo (~$30), this made-in-Italy helmet was a bargain. It's basically the same price as a low-end Walmart helmet, but is by a high-end brand.

I would like to give it a 5 star, but for the price of this helmet, you could probably buy another with better quality and with MIPS. Only reason I bought this helmet is because it matches the Color of my jacket and jersey. It is adjustable and fits my head perfectly and I can wear a cap underneath. Also the look of the helmet is not nerdy, compared to the bontrager helmet that I have. There are some issue with the polishing or finishing of the styrofoam. Comparing it to my other helmet, there are some sharp excess on the black part of the styrofoam and it made it look cheap compared to my cheaper bontrager helmet. All in all, I got what I was looking for in a helmet. The Color and aesthetic of the helmet suits what I am looking for.

I went for medium, even though my head size was on the threshold. It is a nice tight fit.Helmet looks great.There are only 2 removable paddings, I have been removing the front one after each ride and washing it. It has done well.The rear section adjustment is a bit odd, very large and has no padding. I don’t mind it though, I think it gives good security - for if you ever need the helmet to do its job.Recommend at this price for sure.

I have always disliked wearing helmets when cycling as they always felt bulky and cumbersome. This helmet is well ventilated, low profile (minimal “mushroom head”), and extremely light weight. Honestly forgot I had it on for miles at a time the very first time wearing it. Glad to have the safety — even happier it’s so much more comfortable while riding than past helmets I tried. Great value for the price. Fits true to size as listed — and the inner band is adjustable to one’s exact head circumference within the stated ranges.
