About this item:
Get a grip with Rough Country's Traction Bar Kit for GM 1500 Models. These heavy-duty Traction Bars help prevent wheel hop and axle wrap by aligning and stabilizing the rear axle geometry, allowing for full travel and articulation without binding. Not just any bar can get the job done, and Rough Country's "Ladder Bar" design combines relentless strength with aggressive good looks. Rough Country's GM Traction Bars feature Clevite Rubber Bushings and a threaded Adjustable Heim End for an easier install and true adjustability. Works on GM 1500 from stock to up to 7.5" lift. Best of all these Traction bars feature Rough Country's Lifetime Replacement Warranty!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fit my 2door 2wd with a 3.5 lift on the rear.
My truck is 2wd it has a 3.5” lift in the rear and this kit works with my set up. I welded in the frame brackets since my single cab has the gas tank in the way which wasn’t a big deal and actually sped up installation. The ride quality improved in my case it really made the rear feel less bouncy. The ride quality was a big bonus I didn’t expect.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great piece of kit!
I immediately felt smoother acceleration and handling on rough roads. It always pains me to drill the frame, but it’s worth it. They also add tons of style, my Z71 looks mean. Really easy and straight forward to install, especially if you’re already swapping factory blocks 😉 I am curious to see how they effect riding in deep snow!
4.0 out of 5 stars Great product overall
Prepare your self for good 3-4 hours of work.My kit was missing a few very important bolts that I had to buy. Also they sprayed some paint on the threads, so be cautious about that. Silverado 1500 2016.
5.0 out of 5 stars EASY INSTALL! HREAT PRODUCT AS USIAL!!!!
Great product! NEVER disappointed with ROUGH COUNTRY products! Firmest was great. Suggestion, when they tell you to drill a 1.25” hole in the frame for the jamb nut plates for the front bracket, you do t have to. You can use mechanics wire to fish the plate to where it’s needed for the front bar mount, start one of the bolts with the plate in place then pull the mechanics wire off the plate and install the other bolt. Do not twist the wire on, just put it they one of the nuts on the plate and fold it over, this way you can just pull on the wire once the plate is where you need it ( once the other bolt is started to hold it in place) and pull on the wire to get it loose.👍🏻👍🏻
5.0 out of 5 stars I’m mad I didn’t buy one sooner.
I will never get a truck again and not put one of these on. Such a better drive. If you’re thinking of getting one and see this review it’s your sign to buy it.

Needless to say I was lucky enough to find these traction traction control bars by rough country through Bolo , Thanks to rough countries traction control bars I was able to dampen out the wheel hop ,axle wrap . Rough country I appreciate your aftermarket equipment, I will continue to do business with you in the near future .
2.0 out of 5 stars Junk
Doesn't fit 3500hd dually bad welds, looks like bird poop. don't buy
4.0 out of 5 stars Good product for the price point it’s at.
I have a 2018 Chevrolet 1500 and It has a 6.5in Zone lift. This product looks good under the truck and you can tell it helps it a lot.The only reason I didn’t give it 5 starts is because the instructions are good all the way until you get to the template. The template is about a 1/4” off. The holes for the bracket are about 4 1/4” apart not 4” like it says.So if your installing these yourself just be mindful of that.Other than that hardware looks good and the fitment was perfect.
Good kit, good value
The kit is a good value for the money. I welded my frame bracket as I didn't want to drill a 1.25" hole in my frame. Otherwise everything seems decent quality other then the paint as other reviewers mention. I painted mine before installation to try to keep the rust at bay for longer. My truck is lifted 6.5" and the difference in driving with these is night and day. Much more connected to the road. Truck seems to "handle" better. I live in a mountainous region and high load throttle application on 6.5" blocks with no traction bars would make the springs wobble like crazy. With these traction bars it pulls solid and tight like a stock truck.100% would recommend for lifted trucks. Should have bought them sooner.
