I was fortunate to have purchased this calculator for just over $170; it has an abundance of features - many of which I have yet to use - for the price. I am not enamoured with the Python programming language; one textbook for it has over 50 chapters and another has over 1000 pages: one need only compare this to Kernighan and Ritchie's text for the C programming language to realize that the "advanced" features of Python make it a bloated and unwieldy language. Despite my lukewarm feelings about Python, it is amazing to have a programming language on a calculator: hats off to Texas Instruments.In addition to Python, the TI Basic language is useful for small programs such as temperature conversion, etc. I have yet to use the graphing feature of the calculator, but it appears to be an awesome feature. Finally, the TI-84 Plus CE Python calculator is very easy to use for straightforward calculations, and the inclusion of the transcendental functions is a very useful feature.If the Python interpreter could be replaced by a C compiler, TI would have the nearly perfect instrument.

This is a great calculator! It has many functions. The downside to many functions is it can be tricky to learn a lot of them. Great product over all, nice screen image quality.Shipping for this item took forever! The arrival date kept getting pushed back because it had not shipped.
