This handy tool is retractable to keep threader wire protected when not in use. I recently started hand embroidery and this little thing has come in handy to thread the needle easily! The loop is attached well too, I keep worrying it could fall out since it’s a little flimsy but it’s been pulled on quite a bit and hasn’t budged! The light makes it so much easier too. There is a small cutter on the side and while it works I don’t prefer it, I found it frayed my thread and I was better off with scissors. Still overall happy with this purchase

I bought 6 of them. One was for a gift. After 3 years of constant use with embroidery floss I finally wore my first one out. Highly recommend. Can't go wrong with Dritz.

It's so much easier to use this and put its threader through the eye of the needle than it is trying to do it with the actual thread.One improvement that should be made is changing the color of the threader. Next to a silver needle it was a bit challenging to see if I was positioning it correctly. The trick I ended up using was to position it to side of the needle eye and then slowly move the threader towards the needle eye until the tip flicked inside of it.But even that little trick had it challenges because the threader is thin and very flexible; thus, the slightest extra force would cause the threader to skip past the needle eye and travel to the other side.

I use this threader ALL the time!! My eyes aren’t that great and I need the extra help to get my needles threaded. The little light is the BEST part! I will always buy this type of threader from now on.

This is a great idea for those of us who are a little older and need help seeing the eye of the needle. The LED light is a great idea, if it worked for more than one use. After using it once, the light no longer came on. So now I just have an overpriced needle threader. Hard pass on this one.

I NEVER write reviews on products but wanted to on this one - I'm very new to cross stitching and wanted to find a tool that would make threading easier as that was my biggest challenge in getting into this hobby. I bought this product and was so impressed by how bright the light was and how cute it is over all! However, I only had been using it for about a week (and not every day mind you) when the silver wire started to lose its shape / bend. It got so bad that the wire no longer retracted (went in and out) of the designed threading hole and stopped working completely. I am very disappointed as I was really enjoying using this product but saddened that it only lasted less than a few weeks into use. I am currently on Bolo trying to find a replacement for it. Would not recommend getting this but if you do, I hope you have better luck than I did!

My 11 year old is an avid hand stitcher! She loves how simple this makes threading the needle. She takes it on road trips, to grandmas house, etc. anywhere her stitch projects go you better believe this is coming with her!
