5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect little diffuser
I don’t often write reviews but I love this little diffuser! I use it with revive essential oils and the output is great. Definitely a “desktop” version. It wouldn’t diffuse a whole room, but it’s perfect for me. I love to use it while I’m doing my skin care or while I’m falling asleep. I love the fact that it turns off on its own when the water runs out. I love the different light options. It can cycle through all of the colors, or you can choose a bright or a dim version of each color. Worth the money!
5.0 out of 5 stars UPDATE - review replacement diffuser InnoGear sent (to replace this one that was not great) upgraded 3 stars to 5
UPDATE: 2/16/16 - InnoGear must have read my review because very shortly after I posted, I got an email from them stating they were very sorry for my problems with the diffuser and offered to replace it. They upgraded me to a beautiful 300mL one - the 300ml Essential Oil Diffuser - InnoGear® Wood Grain Ultrasonic Cool Mist Aroma Humidifier with Timer Settings Color Changing LED lights Waterless Auto Shut Off for Home Office Baby.I emailed them my thanks and the girl told me she'd put in a replacement order for me. She told me it would arrive in a week. It arrived THE NEXT DAY. I thanked InnoGear again, told them I wanted to use it for a while before I upgraded my review. I've now used it for about 2 weeks. I'm REALLY enjoying it. It looks a little like Aladdin's lamp but it holds a ton of water (I used about 8 drops of essential oils in it) instructions for cleaning are included (however number of drops of oil isn't - I guess it's up to you for preference. I just doubled the amount of oil I used in the other one because this one holds 3 times more water). The lid doesn't lock on (so make sure to keep it away from kids and animals) but I actually really like that because it's easy to fill and refill. The lights are very pretty, it doesn't run intermittently like the original (on and off every 15 seconds), it runs for 1 hour, 3 hours 6 hours and continuously. It also has the option (I believe) of running full force or slightly lower output. Mine runs for 3-5 days before it runs out. The ease of operation is great and best of all - I'm smelling my essential oils instead of the musty weirdness my other diffuser was putting off. One note of caution: Be sure to follow the directions when disposing of water. There is a wrong side to pour out and a right side. Pay attention - if you don't, you can ruin the motor. Also, make sure the bottom is clear, there is air intake there as well.InnoGear gets a resounding 5 stars from me for customer service and caring. The diffuser does as well! If it changes I'll upgrade the review again, but for right now, I'm pretty pleased all the way around. Thanks InnoGear!!--------------------I've had many, many different diffusers and have never had this issue. This is one I have in my office but I also have them in many rooms in my house. I got this one b/c it's pretty, a good price, has variable mist options and runs for a nice long while. But when I put in oils, what ends up coming out smells musty. I've cleaned it, I've soaked it, I've changed oils. It's embarrassing and makes me feel a bit sick. I normally LOVE diffusing, but I have to keep turning this off. I just can't figure it out but I give up. BTW, I use between 3-5 drops of either DoTerra, Young Living and/or Native American Nutritionals oils, I've used distilled water and tap water. I've finally ordered something else and am going to throw this away. Hopefully it's a "one-off" bad one and everyone else who uses this is having much better luck. My SIL has one and loves it! It runs the way it was described, it's operating flawlessly other than that pesky odor issue (the whole purpose of the diffuser) so I gave it three stars because of that.
4.0 out of 5 stars Does what it needs to do
I got this in May 2024 and it’s December 2024. The diffuser works great. I love the led colors and the overall function is still good. When put on the setting that doesn’t output mist continuously (turns on and off) the length times runs pretty long. I once turned it on before work and came home after an 8hr shift and it was still running. The only issue I have is the top is now difficult to remove to refill it was water and oils. I have to use a tack to open it. Other than that I love it. It’s good for small spaces and make sure you clean it after every three uses
5.0 out of 5 stars Forget candles, I'm a diffuser girl now!
I am in love with this diffuser! I used to spend tons of money buying different scented candles, those days are over. Now I just purchase essential oils on Bolo and distilled water at the grocery and I am good to go, and it's so much cheaper. I had doubts about ordering this product since it seemed a lot of users stated it stopped working within days or weeks of using. So I decided to wait three weeks to make sure everything was good before writing my review. The product is great and didn't break down on me or have a weaker mist after continued use. I think a lot of the problems people had were due to not maintaining proper care of their diffuser. Here are the things I did to ensure my diffuser stayed working properly:1. USE DISTILLED WATER - I know it states you can use regular tap water, but let's face it, there are minerals in tap water that cause buildup after time. Especially here in Florida items will get hard water buildup (tea kettles, floor steamers, etc..) if you don't use purified or distilled water. So spend the $0.70 to get a gallon of it at your local retailer. It's cheaper then having to spend more money to replace a diffuser that stops working because you used tap water.2. USE QUALITY ESSENTIAL OILS - Don't cheap out and get anything other than 100% pure, therapeutic grade, essential oil. Since I'm just starting out and didn't have any, I purchased a set here on Bolo that included the "top" six essential oils in a nice little set. It had an info card that told you a little about each scent and what it was good to use for, which was helpful to me since I'm a newbie. The link is here in case you want to order it as well.Aromatherapy Top 6 Essential Oils 100% Pure & Therapeutic grade - Basic Sampler Gift Set & Premium Kit - 6/10 Ml (Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass, Orange, Peppermint)3. KEEP THE UNIT CLEAN - After you're done use make sure to take the top off, drain the excess water (drain side!), wipe excess water with a facecloth, and let air dry. The instructions also state to clean the unit weekly with soap and warm water. Again, I don't use tap water because of the mineral build up so I don't do this step. Instead, I take a bit of rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and wipe the inside of the unit and the top. This removes any remaining essential oil residue left behind that doesn't come off when drying the unit with a washcloth. For extra added maintenance you can even run the unit with a 50/50 solution of distilled water and white vinegar. White vinegar will help break down any traces of hard water buildup.4. RESTING TIME - I have two diffusers. Both of them came with instructions and I can't remember if it was this unit or another that stated to let the machine rest for an hour after use. So I do that for all of my diffusers. It doesn't matter if I turn it off early, or if it auto shutoffs when it runs out of water. No matter how badly the urge is to refill it and keep going, I don't. The unit needs time to rest and cool down.5. DON'T OVER FILL - People stated that their unit had a "weaker mist" after a couple of uses. I didn't experience this but the instructions state if you over fill with water it will cause a weaker mist because there isn't enough space between the water and the top of the lid. The unit will also have a weaker mist near the end when the water is almost gone, and this is normal. Again, it's all about reading the instructions which I think a lot of people neglected to do thoroughly.Other then that I really like this unit. It is perfect for small rooms (bedrooms, offices) as it only holds 100ml. I keep mine on my nightstand and use lavendar to help me sleep, eucalyptus when I have sinus issues, and peppermint when I have a headache. My husband keeps his in the office near his computer to diffuse citrus scents to help give him energy and focus. If you are looking for a unit to diffuse in big rooms (kitchen, dining room, den, etc..) then this unit won't cut it, it's too small. It might work if you live in a small apartment, but for single family homes that have larger square footage, you need a bigger unit that holds about 300ml. The unit I have for my open room area is wonderful and you can purchase it on Bolo hereURPOWER Aroma Essential Oil Diffuser,Urpower Wood Grain Ultrasonic Cool Mist Whisper-Quiet Humidifier with Color LED Lights Changing & 4 Timer Settings, Waterless Auto Shut-Off, 300mlIf the unit has any issues I will post an update and change my rating. Right size
I like this diffuser because it's compact. It works perfectly for the space. I get to experiment with different scents also. Would definitely recommend
Nice deal
Good product
Worked perfect
Actually, I bought 2 of those Oil Diffusers, in the beginning, This one is the third one, Because my family liked them, Due to their safety feature ( Automatic Shut off) when the water is gone.
Bueno
Funciona muy bien, se apaga automaticamente al terminarse el agua. Para mi opinion es mas caro de lo que deberia ser, pero buen producto aun asi.
Value for money Diffuser
The power connector is abit hard to pull out. Can be a chore if you use it 2-3 times a day everyday. The diffuser strength is also not very strong but thats personal preference I guess. The 30 sec intermittent mode which can last about 6 hrs is useful for sleep if you dont want the scent to be too overpowering. Overall I think its a value for money diffuser at this price.
