This temperature sensor sun shield has performed exceptionally well for me. I’m using it with a custom-built sensor, and its versatile design makes it compatible with nearly any type of sensor. Mounting options are plentiful, allowing for easy installation in a variety of setups.The shield is a simple yet well-made plastic device that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. For the price, it would have been nearly impossible to fabricate something of comparable quality on my own. Since installing it, the shield has effectively protected my sensor from direct sunlight, significantly improving the accuracy of my outdoor temperature readings.Overall, this product delivers excellent performance at a reasonable price. Its quality, functionality, and value make it an easy recommendation.

Recently purchased a weather station from this company that came with an outside sensor. Living in an area that occasionally has some nasty weather, I didnt want to place it outside without protection. This shield and mount provided exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to mount and provides great protection without interfering with its readings or communicating with the base station. A great addition that I'm very glad to have added!

I liked having the ability to mount the sensor outdoors to get an accurate temperature while protecting it from the elements. I didn’t like the flimsy nature of the screws for mounting the sensor protection shield on wood. The Phillips head is soft and strips easily. Use your own wood screws and save yourself the hassle.

Put the sensor in this and hung this in the laurel bush on the west side of house. It is in shade as needed during summer; and is somewhat protected during rain. We have had high winds, and lots of showers in the last couple months - the sensor stayed put. The sensor itself doesn't interfere with the sending of data to the inside weather station.

Very useful to protecct sensor in extreme Canadian weather conditions. A little pricey in my opinion. It is a heavy duty plastic cover for the weather station.
