I use these to replace the plastic valve that medela gives us with their pump parts, and they are honestly way better, and a lot easier to clean. Do not have to replace them ever so often, and at least this comes with 5 of them. This should last you up to a year at least, depending on how much you pump on the daily basis.

I was so happy I received this and I prefer this duckbill instead of those flimsy cheap tiny flat circle things on the manual pump I have But also found out.. my pump was not working/suctioning properly because of those at all.. it was not working because of one thing I didn’t know about. The ring haha. I replaced everything thinking maybe it was that cheap membrane when it was the darn missing ring but that’s ok!! Because I still ordered my duckbill regardless and still learned the real reason why my manual pump didn’t work properly as it should. I don’t know if my manual pump was defective or I lost the part myself But now I know I learned something and still happy I still ordered it! Without ordering it I’d never learn the real reason! I also loved the duckbill. I’ll order again when it’s time

I have a medela Symphony that was provided to me by insurance for rent when I left the hospital. The valves were giving me issues so I decided to give these a go. I wasn't sure they would fit being an after market product... but figured it couldn't hurt to just see. Well they fit and the valves change has helped keep my supply up. I also have a pump in style and it fits the valves for thoes bottles too. I'm a HUGE FAN! I am glad I tried these out and gave them a shot. They are easy to clean and less.drama then the valves Medela provides. I like these WAY better!

I purchased these for my spectra pump after about a month and half of use and will continue to purchase for future replacements. It fits great and easy to clean. I think it's better quality than the original spectra part, Actually.

I took a chance ordering these as an "alternative" to the two piece valves that come standard with the Medela Pump in Style Advanced (PISA) pump after reading a review online. I admit, I was hesitant, but for the price, and a little piece of mind (I constantly loose the little white medela valve covers down the drain when cleaning), it was worth giving these a shot.I've been using these for a little under a week now, and here are my thoughts:1. I LOVE the simplicity of not having two separate parts to clean.2. The suction with these are far gentler, yet somehow stronger than the Medela PISA valves.3. I've been able to reduce my pumping time by almost HALF (which means a great deal to me, since I was pumping for 30 minutes, every 1/2 hour previously)I've NOT noticed a huge change in output, but the time saved really has made the purchase worth it regardless.Some reviewers commented that these don't fit snugly on the Medela parts, however I've yet to encounter this, if anything, they're a wee bit tricky to get off, since they fit so snug. Secondly, I didn't receive any of the valves with the tips open/gaping like several reviewers noted. One thing I would agree with, is that 5 does seem to be an odd number of pieces per package, however upon doing further searching on Bolo, there is a 6-pack option for a dollar more.I've already ordered another pack of these to have on hand, and have tossed all my old Medela valves.

A must for a hand pump, i havnt tried it with my other electric pumps but it made a big difference on my medela hand pump vs the ones that comes with it !

I LOVE these! I bought them because I wanted spares for my Spectra S1 breast pump, but I love these more than the original Spectra ones! Why are they so great? 1) they fit like a glove and 2) they are more rigid, and have an outer ring. The original Spectra ones I received with the pump have more of a soft valve - just like a soft silicone. This is problematic because breastmilk makes them so slippery that it's very hard for me to remove the Spectra ones - I would have to use a piece of paper towel to get a grip on them. These remove easily, but are still secure and give good air flow for proper pumping.My only warning would be that underneath there is a ring where milk can get stuck. I keep a tub in my kitchen sink or refridgerate the pump parts during the day, so the milk doesn't sit too long to dry out in these. If you don't tend to them, I could see how milk could get "stuck" up there and be difficult to clean. However, if you don't, then I wouldn't worry - but do keep this in mind and use pump steamer bags periodically to ensure they are sterilized and no unseen funk is growing up there. I've attached a few pictures of these on my S1 flange.Don't hesitate to buy! (I do think it's weird it's sold in a 5 pack - I would think sets of two since most people have double electric pumps, but it's still two sets and a spare!).

Awful to wash, 2/6 opened after first wash, kotherwise work
I ordered these by mistake without realizing they were not the standard model. Returning wasn’t worth the hassle since i would have to pay the shipping from canada to the states.The reason I wanted to return them was the complexity of washing them. They are smaller than the standard valve, they have inner space in which the flange neck goes (which wouldn’t be a bad thing if you’re not resolved in making sure all is washed and cleaned); and the biggest thing is that they are too narrow and you cannot get your finger inside to wash- that’s how I’ve been doing it with others for months now. I don’t understand how more people in the reviews here said “easy to wash” ?? Maybe they have a dishwasher, idk. To me it was way too much workSo anyways might as well use them until other ones arrive. Two of them got opened after the first use, i used that one in the pics and it can be seen there.The positive thing is that they are sturdy and thick and seem to work just fine from what i have seen. Will update in case that changes.

Works on my spectra like it belonged from the beginning. It actually works better than the original spectra valves. Im extremely pleased with this product - it cut down my pumping time from 15 minutes to 11 minutes to get the same amount of milk. Seriously, the suction is much better with these compared to spectra's original valves. I bought them as just in case spectra ones got misplaced or ripped. I'm so glad spectra's valves got ripped or else I wouldn't have tried these. I hate pumping so I would do anything to cut my pumping time. Love these. Get them!!!
