I opened my front door to get my Bolo package and got a wife of a horrid scent. I thought someone must’ve laid any poison outside or maybe someone was repairing a sewage system. Went inside and it followed me, I couldn’t get this rancid smell out of my nose. As I opened the package it just got worse and worse, I thought there is no way this tea smells this bad. Well apparently so but I got past the smell and made the tea. After awhile the smell either subsided or my entire household has become immune to it in the hopes of survival, my husband wouldn’t touch me while I was drinking it the first night as it apparently smelled like someone opened a portal straight to hell. I haven’t noticed any differences in skin/ hair or energy since drinking it but it tastes good and at the least may get you some personal space for a bit.

A friend turned me on to elderberry a few years ago as I have a problem with getting the flu often and taking a very long time to recover each time. I didn't want to try it at first because all the products I saw contained sugar which I want to avoid. BuT I found this tea which has no sugar and it's awesome for making me less sick!!! I take it for medicinal purposes, it shortens my flu experience significantly. I drink a couple cups every day till I'm better. It's fine plain, sometimes I add cream if I'm out of the woods with respiratory issues. It doesn't taste like much unsweetened, tbh, it's a subtle woodsy berry flavor, but it's pleasant.

Being a recent breast cancer survivor and worried about my immune health during the covid 19 pandemic. I had always heard that elderberry juice was healthy and a great immune booster. So I started doing an elderberry water packet while in Arizona. But couldn't find it when we returned home to Georgia, so I started taking the vitamins. And recently while about to order the vitamins again I found the tea. So I ordered it. It is delicious. My mother in law who is 90 came to visit for a few weeks and she and I had an elderberry tea time almost everyday with the China cups and saucers. It was awesome!!!

The smell that some people have mentioned, I don't think it's that bad. My first taste, I thought , had just a tiny flavor of wheat. Its sweet & doesn't need any sweetener! I would definitely reorder.

I always have this tea on hand. If I have a cold or the flu, a cup of elderberry tea loosen my cough and I can breathe easier. An elderly lady taught me that many years ago. It is not only great when I feel ill but a piping hot cup is pleasing not only to my nose but makes my tastebuds sing. The tea brings back memories of piping hot biscuits with elderberry jelly.
